[What is that?]

I willed myself and went near the purple vortex, and finally made sense of what was on the core.

There was a line within. Just a literal line. A white line within the darkness. There were signs of something crawling along it with speeds exceeding that of insects. It's probably electricity, but it doesn't seem like it.

[Just what the heck is that?]

I tried to touch the purple vortex and nothing happened, so I proceeded further inside before touching the black vortex.

Kzzt.

A spark made my finger rebound harshly, and it also sent my body away from the vortex itself.

I wasn't even able to will myself to stop my momentum, and before I knew it, I was already feeling wet and sticky.

"I'm out?"

Looks like the black vortex sent me out to my actual body, and now that I realize it, there were even a few grains of sand and dust on my other half.

"Ugh. Disgusting."
