"But that would be difficult. At this distance from the capital, there are bound to be more beasts than humans."

"What if I made an impenetrable barrier all around the land and houses that I plan to make?"

"Well, you better get permission from the gods. It's not like they wouldn't know and and see that some stranger is making his own territory within theirs."

"Sounds like they just want some tax or something."
