* * * *

Tobias placed one hand on David’s lower back as they entered one of his favorite restaurants. It served the best steak and potatoes in comparison to some of the other places in the city. He had managed to meet up with a psychologist twice over the past three weeks since he had promised David he would do so. He had no idea if the sessions were effective or not. There had been plenty of talking on his part and gentle prodding from the psychologist.

Nevertheless, he was rather proud of himself for getting through two sessions, and he thought it would be nice to have sort of a celebratory dinner with David. He was a bit irritated when he noticed quite a few women and some men throwing appreciative looks at David as the two of them made their way to their table, but he thought his jealousy wasn’t as intense as before. Maybe his chats with the psychologist were working after all.
