Chapter 75

“Mom, Dad, let us talk about something else, please. I beg you.”

His mother blushed and nodded. “Oh, yes. Of course. David.”

“Not David.”

His father scrunched up his face in confusion. “Why not? Are you frightened your mom and I will be monsters-in-law? If so, I can promise we won’t scare him away.”

Tobias shook his head. “It’s too fast, Dad.”

His mother patted him on his thigh. “I don’t think so. Your father and I were introduced by our friends, and two weeks later, he proposed to me. We’ve been together ever since. The old man has given me plenty of joy over the years.”

Before he could respond, his father winked at his mother. “And I’ll show you even more delight later in our bed at home.”

Tobias was even more nauseous when his mother tittered and nodded with a whole lot of enthusiasm. “Holy crap. I think I’m going to puke. The two of you together are vomit-inducing.”
