“Sorry.”

Tobias appeared to be rather concerned. “Are you okay?”

David nodded. “Yeah. What’s for dinner?”

Tobias hesitated for a moment before answering. “Grilled steaks and whole potatoes. Come on.”

David enjoyed the feeling of Tobias’s arm around his waist as his boyfriend tugged him away from the garage. He glanced at the button on the right wall of the garage, which Tobias pressed down on once. The garage door slid down from the top automatically.

“Nice.”

Tobias grinned. “Yeah. I’ve also made several remote controls for the door. They’re placed inside all my cars for easy access. The same remote controls are also programmed to open and close the elevator doors you got onto earlier.”

“That’s really awesome,” David said before pointing at some of the other buildings on the open rooftop. “Who else lives on this floor?”
