Chapter 42

The actors quickly added the new offerings to their personal websites, as well as to the main studio site. The tours sold especially well—they were going to have to come up with some sort of explanation for all the guests who were going to be trooping in and out of the place, or Armand was going to blow his top before they even got the plan rolling good. The crew chipped in as well, with more tours and “Be a Junior Crew Member for a Day” packages. They told Armand the local film school was starting a student intern program where they got to spend a day shadowing somebody to decide what aspect of film-making appealed to them the most. Armand bought it, though he did grumble about all the extra bodies on the sets. The “junior crew members” invariably stood open-mouthed when introduced to the director, too nervous to speak (or correctly interpreting Armand’s scowl as the conversational deterrent it was intended to be).
