Chapter 1

1st February 2024. Woke up to the sounds of rain. It's already so cold, why is it raining so heavily now. I don't think much people will come to school today.

Reached school after a sprint of 2kms in the rain. I was alone in the class. I guess am the only one who has come today. Maybe Arjun or Yatharth have come in C section.

"Hey I saw you running while coming to school"

"Oh where did you see me"

"In the main market"

Only Arjun and Pparing has come in their section yet. Arjun says he lives in Indirapuram but I saw him near school area only many times. Vaibhav told me that he once saw Arjun in the nearest market with his father and Arjun tried to hide from him. And now also, how did he see me coming to school running if he doesn't live here.

Still, He isn't really a dumb guy or a deceptive guy to do all this. He has good looks, good grades, and really excellent in sports. He became my good friend in just a year even after while being in a different section.

"Who all have come in your class?"

"Only I have come till now, I don't think anyone else is coming. Afterall my class has all the nerds who take holiday to study before exams"

"And today is rained so people like Bakshi (Aman) and Shivansh got a chance to take holiday"

"Yep, hehe they don't even have 75 percent attendance I don't know if the school will let them pass"

"hehehe"

By the way there's a weird thing between Arjun and Samriddhi. They always roam together in lunch break and also outside the school. Both the students and the teachers bitch about them. They really seem like lovey-dovey couples afterall both are like the idol girl and boy of 9th. But I know that they ain't really in a relation but just really good friends.

Arjun has recently also started thinking of me as a weird guy recently. This is because of he thinks I am some kind of mastermind.

"Hey you know that Rakshit has crush on Samriddhi? Do you remember who told you?"

Arjun messaged me. Rakshit is also a member of Gautam's gang from C section. He is kind of his right hand man you can say.

"Yes, Samriddhi herself told me. Why?"

"Do you know about this Insta account 'yatthu_fanbase'"

"Yep, someone pretended to be yattharth using this account. Yattharth and me tried to investigate who it was actually but we couldn't know"

Actually we got to know. Pratyush was using this account to talk to girls because Yattharth wasn't actually on instagram and he was that boy who is invited to every girl's party. But actually Pratyush put the login info on a story and someone logged into that account and changed password. Now its with someone anonymous. And it can be dangerous cause that account is literally friends with everyone including the seniors and juniors.

"Yattharth told me that you operate the account"

"Huh no"

What why did he say this. Why would Yattharth wouldn't say this. He wouldn't. I believe that Arjun thinks I use that account so he is trying to make me confess

"idk what made Yattharth think that, and the account hasn't even taken any actions since so long, what makes you ask about it now"

"Actually that account sent some messages to Rakshit, as he told me today"

"What messages"

"He told that the account user knew many secrets about his gang, and also about him for example that he has crush on Samriddhi"

"So? ig Yattharth didn't even say that to you, you just think that I knew about his crush means I am some work-less guy messaging someone their secrets?"

"No I wasn't suspecting you just for that. I asked Samriddhi who all she told that Rakshit had a crush on her and she told about you and also said that you were asking for info on their gang. And Rakshit also listened her so he also thinks that you are the Mastermind"

Bruh that freckin women.

"Info? Ask her what info I asked for. Why is she so random, and has so much problem with me"

And actually I don't think even she said that to him. But I bet he told this to Rakshit. now they really gonna go after me"

The next day Arjun and me met outside the school

"Hey how are you mister mastermind"

"Bruh seriously?"

"what"

"why do you think it's me"

"intuition bro"

"your intuition is really bad hehe"

Just 5 people came in A section. 19 in C and 9 in B. In my class it was me, Veeraj, Bharat, Ananya, and Samriddhi. In B Vaibhav and his group had come and in C Arjun had come so I wont be bored if we merge with either of the classes.

So all 3 sections were merged.....

I was sitting with Pparin in the front in the starting but then I went in the back to wit with Ryan. Behind us were Vaibhav and Anmol and in Front were Arjun and Tanmay, but they were into conversations with the girls in front of them so Vaibhav, Anmol and Ryan were pretty much gonna be my peer for the day.

"Seeing you after many days, Vaibhav"

"Yeah I was gone to Uttarakhand for my football clusters"

"What? You play football in some academy or something?"

"Yes"

"Aaaah It's been so many days since I played football with you, or some good player. I guess I will also join an academy in 10th"

"Yeah really. our 8th was filled with so many good players it was so fun to play football. You were the best defender, Teerth and Yatharth were so good goal keepers, Shivansh and Aman were such a good attacking team, and Lakshay ran with the ball across the whole ground in seconds"

"And your shoots were soo good. I used to need so much resolve to defend from your bullet speed shoots."

"Yep, they have improved even more now haha"

Anmol and Ryan weren't in our conversation for like 5 minutes. Vaibhav, being the real good guy he is, changed the topic to join those 2.

"Have you guys started studying for exams?"

"Yes, My social studies and science syllabus are complete"

"Aah, sst. I really have problems in social studies"

I seem to have trouble in social studies cause I am not particularly able to memorise much stuff.

"And I have problems with maths. Our math teacher is literally finishes the chapter worth 10 classes in a single class."

Then I also tried to make Arjun Join the conversation.

"If exams had dou gamemodes, I would participate it with Arjun"

"Huh why me"

"Cause I am only good at Maths and you are only not good at Maths"

"Ohhh yes haha"

We did a dab. It was a nice one.

The conversation went on like this for some time. Arjun backed off again to talk to those girls. Petty simp.

"Hey Kamal, next time if those gangsters come to fight you, don't run, just call us"

Huh why is Vaibhav saying that randomly. But whatever, if he says this then it's really good. Vaibhav and his group are really monsters when it comes to fighting. They never actually fight because they ain't that kinda people, but whenever it has happened once or twice, they have obliterated anyone in front of them. I call them the rhinos!

"Kamal, I need to talk to you about something"

Our section went into art room in art period and started working on our pending sculpture work. The cruel women called out to me. Veeraj and Ananya started giving me looks. What!

I went to her.

"What"

"Don't give the things I give to you to anyone else"

"Huh"

"Why did you give the protractor to Shivansh"

"I didn't give, he just took it without permission"

"You should have kept it with you"

"Bruh, ok, sorry."

I murmured-

"Why did you even give when you have so much problems and I didn't even ask"

"What"

"Nothing"
