**Flashback:**

Swish! A sound of a swinging sword.

"No! Mother! Father! Ah!"

The house burned, and inside were my father and mother. Numerous assailants invaded, killing my parents.

"Run, Elen! Leah!" My mother yelled, her voice desperate. My heart pounded as I saw my father stabbed.

When I looked again, my mother was also stabbed. I screamed while my sister Aleah cried silently, tears streaming down her face.

'Mother and father were the strongest mages and a witch. Why couldn't they use magic to defend themselves?'

"No, Mother! Father! AAAAAAAHHH!" I screamed as my sister held my hand tightly.

Aleah was 10 years old, and I was only 8. Our age gap was just two years.

As we ran far from the chaos, someone pursued us. "Swish!" An arrow struck my sister, and she collapsed.

"No! Sister Aleah!" I shouted as she bled from her stomach. I didn't know how to fight; all I could do was cry and beg for mercy.

"Please don't kill my sister! I'm begging you!" When another arrow aimed at me, my sister shielded me, taking the hit in her heart.

"No, Elen... Run... ugh." My sister gasped her last words, urging me to flee.

I couldn't move, paralyzed by fear and trembling uncontrollably.

When the assassins stopped, someone approached me. "Oh, is it Aaron's bastards? Oh, don't worry, little girl. We won't shoot you. Only your sister was supposed to live, but she protected you."

"You will never see them again." He laughed, smirking with no remorse for killing my family.

'Tsk, why does she have to look like her father from the side?!' the murderer thought.

The forest was foggy, and they all wore masks. Dizzy and panicked, I eventually collapsed.

When I woke up, it was morning. They were gone, and my sister was dead beside me. Someone had left a flower in her hand. I didn't know who placed it, but I blamed them.

"Chirp, chirp..." The birds chirped as I opened my eyes to a bright sun.

Tears flowed down my face. "Ah, I dreamed about my past again."

I tried to get up but felt too weak, as if I hadn't eaten in a month.

"Master! Are you awake? We were so worried!"

Selentia Tris Flowell, Duchess of Flowell Mansion. At 18 years old, she had golden yellow hair and sky-blue eyes. She used magic to lower her hair color because her mother, Kaye Florin, said her rare hair might make her a target for kidnappers.

I have two disciples, childhood friends Zike and Zeo, both 18. I don't like them calling me "Master," but Zike insists. Zeo calls me by my name.

- **Zeo Eugene:** Black hair, light green eyes.

- **Zike Isis:** White silver hair, violet eyes.

They are twins but look very different. People often mistake them for handsome friends. Zike sometimes calls Zeo, "Yo mah friend yoooo~," which annoys Zeo, leading to playful chases.

They don't know their parents and don't care, believing they were abandoned.

We met at the slave prisons when the Flowell Duchess wanted to adopt me. We were raised like siblings but didn't receive the Flowell last name.

Maybe because they didnt want to be noble even though the duke and duchess wanted them to be my siblings. instead of making them a siblings they swore to protect me instead.

At 14, we were separated for different educations, i was very sad when they leave cause They went to knights academy until 17, while I learned etiquette and history at home. pretty dramatic isn't it.

We reunited at 17 and joined the Aces Job.

- **Lavastian Empire Aces:**

 - **Red Ace:** Keeps the empire safe, strongest of the Lavastian Aces.

 - **White Ace:** Heals many with divine powers, popular among normal people.

 - **Dark Ace:** Unknown powers. Only Selentia, Zeo, and Zike joined, seen as inferior but favored by the emperor.

- **Sevalos Empire Aces:**

 - **Blue Ace:** Kills many monsters.

 - **Green/White Ace:** Protects the empire and can kill many.

At 9, I discovered I had a lot of mana. My mother was a half-witch, and my father an Arch-mage. I resembled my father on the right side and my mother on the left. My sister Aleah had our mother's red hair and yellow eyes.

My father fled from another empire and met my mother in the forest. Their love began when he fell for her at first sight. I tried to learn about my father's past empire but lost interest, focusing on avenging my parents' murder.

I've been searching for clues about how my mother and father got into weird people catching them and killed us. I always knew that they were the strongest people. but... they can't be defeatd in seconds... as i become suspicious.. I soon realized, both of them probably had some sort of weakness. perhapss...

i suddenly shooks off my head and think of the situation right now and in the future.

**Present:**

---

Suddenly, a sharp headache and a flashback appeared as I looked at Zike.

"Uh... ugh..." I groaned, clutching my head.

Huh...? Who is that?

In my mind, I saw two boys. They seemed familiar, fond of me, but I couldn't place them. They looked like younger versions of Zeo and Zike. Am I hallucinating?

Zike. noticed my discomfort, his face etched with worry. "Are you okay master?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.

I shook my head and tried to dismiss it. "I'm not, but it's fine. It's just a headache."

I wanted to avoid their questions, not wanting to burden them. A bitter expression crossed my face, which only made Zike more anxious. He knew I didn't want to talk about it yet, but he remained by my side, waiting patiently for me to open up.

I forced a smile, hoping to ease his worries. "Alright, just tell us if there's something on your mind," Zike said gently.

**Zike's POV:**

I knew she wasn't okay. Why does seeing her like this make me so nervous?

I wanted to ask her more, but I swallowed my words and stayed silent instead.

---

The silence between Zike and me became awkward. 'Ahhhh! Zike!'

I decided to change the subject. "Zike, how long have I been unconscious?" I asked, trying to sound nonchalant. Why was I worried? Nah, I probably just slept for three days.

A cheeky expression appeared on my face, convinced it was just a minor episode.

As I was about to hear Zike's response, Zeo stepped forward and answered, "Three weeks."

"Ah, that's oka—wait, what?! Three weeks?!" I screamed, my eyes wide with shock.

"Ah, my ears, hey!" Zeo winced, covering his ears.

"Oh, Zeo, Master is awake!" Zike called out with a grin.

"My god! I've been unconscious for three weeks?!" I put my hands on my face, still processing the information.

"Your face is going to tear up, you know?" Zeo teased, smirking.

"The Aces job! No!" I exclaimed, realizing the implications.

"Don't worry, I finished it. Your work is hard, huh?" Zeo reassured me.

"Yes, Master. Zeo is really good!" Zike smiled happily, his eyes twinkling with pride.

I turned to Zike, still in disbelief. "Hey, stop smiling, will you? Ugh, I almost died."

"Get up, let's eat, Selentia," Zeo said, walking towards the door.

"Whoa, Zeo has grown up, huh? Calling my name thoughtlessly," I remarked, trying to lighten the mood.

Zeo's ears turned red. "Shut up, we're the same age."

"Yeah, but I like calling you Master," Zike interjected with a playful wink.

Zike left the room, not realizing I was still weak after being unconscious.

"Vivian, prepare some food and medicine for the Duchess," Zeo instructed the head maid.

"Yes, Master Zeo," Vivian replied promptly.

"Hmm, let's go now—" I attempted to stand up but felt dizzy. 'Ah, I'm about to fall!'

Suddenly, someone ran and caught me. "Hey, be careful!" Zeo scolded gently.

"Yes, yes. Thank you," I mumbled, grateful for his support.

'I should use my powers, but I'm out of mana,' I thought, frustrated with my own weakness.

"You're heavy, even though you didn't eat for three weeks, huh?" Zeo teased, laughing.

'Zeo, you rascal! Teasing me in this situation!' I thought, my irritation flaring up.

"You should use your magic, you f*cking bastard," I retorted, half-joking, half-serious.

"Okay, okay. I stopped teasing you," Zeo conceded, still chuckling.

"Master, are you okay? I'm sorry I didn't notice you hadn't eaten. The priest applied divine power to prevent hunger yesterday, fearing you wouldn't wake up," Zeo explained, his worry evident.

"Hmm, it's nothing. I just don't have the strength to stand," I replied, trying to reassure him.

---

**Dining Room:**

"Hey, Zeo. When I felt dizzy and was about to collapse, my mask didn't fall off that day, right?" I asked, trying to piece together my scattered memories.

"No, it came off when we teleported to the mansion," Zeo replied quickly.

"That's a relief then," I sighed, feeling a bit more at ease.

"You almost died, but you care more about the mask. Unbelievable," Zeo said, shaking his head.

'Zeo, you bastard!' I thought, my anger flaring up again.

"Hmmm, are the kids and people safe?" I inquired, my protective instincts kicking in.

"Yeah. Master, the crown prince wants to meet you again," Zeo informed me, his tone serious.

"What? To kill? Duel? If it's a trap, I'll kill him," I muttered, poking the meat on my plate with a fork.

"Whoa, calm down. Pity the meat; you might be killed by pigs," Zeo teased, trying to lighten the mood.

"Hey!" I shouted, glaring at him.

"What? Hahaha, but it's true," Zeo laughed.

"Shut up, Zeo!" I snapped, feeling my irritation grow.

---

**Flowell Servants:**

"Hmm, they're still the same," one servant remarked, watching us from a distance.

"Yeah, it's worrying she's been unconscious for three weeks," another replied, nodding in agreement.

---

The familiar banter and the deep care we had for each other were always evident. Even in moments of frustration, the bond between us was unbreakable.

Thankyou for reading this! I'll worked hard for the next chapter!
