"Finally, my golden finger is here," I thought, a surge of excitement bubbling inside me. But I decided to check it later—there were matters at hand. I glanced over at Lily, the naked maid panting beside me.

I stretched as I sat up from the floor and motioned for Lily to follow me. Nothing much happened after that, just a bit of playful teasing in the shower. We were both too exhausted for anything more. After washing up, Lily used wind magic to dry her maid uniform. It was my first time seeing real magic, and it left me speechless.

"Why did it take so long for you to appear? I arrived here in the morning, and you're only showing up now. Do you have any idea how confused I was?" I asked, a bit exasperated.

[Calm down, Host. I couldn't appear until you triggered the binding condition.]

"Binding condition? What's that about? I thought systems came complimentary with transmigration. Why would I need to meet a condition for something that's supposed to be mine by default?" I shot back, my curiosity piqued.

[You're not entirely wrong,] the system began, [but the rules have changed. Systems used to bind automatically, but now you have to meet certain conditions for one to be assigned.]

"Why the change?" I asked, genuinely intrigued.

[Because too many systems ended up bound to incompatible hosts, and it resulted in failures. And when the host fails, the system suffers penalties too. We can't afford that anymore.]

"Whoa… so there are that many systems out there?" I asked, amazed.

[Of course! There are thousands of systems you can't even imagine. Some even reward you for doing absolutely nothing—those are AFK systems.]

"Wait, what? There's a system for just... doing nothing? Now that sounds like a dream! I wouldn't have minded getting one of those," I said, half-joking.

[Too bad! You're stuck with me now. Maybe you should've controlled your lust a bit better,] the system teased.

I groaned. "Yeah, yeah… but how can you find compatible host just in one day?"

[Well, it's not decided in just one day. Usually, it's a 3-4 day process where the system observes the transmigrators before making a decision. But your case was unique. Your actions in just a single day spoke volumes about your true nature. ]
