An Artisan in Douluo Dalu

So, I died and was reincarnated in another world. Cool. What’s not cool, is that it is in the dangerous world of Douluo Dalu where you can bring the wrath of a Titled Douluo just for sneezing at the wrong time. Did I forget to mention the continent I am on is currently having a Cold War on the brink of becoming an all out war between three different factions? Yeah, fun. Even worse, I wasn’t even reborn as a GUY!! …. Although I did gain a powerful Martial Soul and a ‘Golden Finger’ of my own and so… it sort of balances out? I always did want to be a famous artist and musician growing up. Now if only I could make sure nobody gets any funny ideas and try to make me exclusively theirs…

Chapter 1: A New Life

In a mountain clearing not far off the beaten path leading up and down the mountain, a young girl with brown hair and eyes could be seen calmly playing music using an exquisite bamboo flute covered in Phoenix etchings.

Spread out throughout the clearing, many animals of varying species were resting nearby, serenely listening to the lovely music that was almost supernatural in its beauty.

But they weren't the only ones enjoying the girl's music, as the wind softly carried down the song to the nearby town at the base of the mountain, peacefully soothing restless spirits, calming stressed minds, and gently rejuvenating tired bodies of all whom listen.

The most affected by this music, is a very weakened Blue Silver Grass Emperor kept within an enclosed cave with only a small hole in the ceiling left open for air and sunlight.

After almost a year of listening to the girl's music every day, her mental power has been recovering a little every day, soothing the distraught Spirit Beast, and giving her hope that she needed in her time of isolation.

Finally, after so long, the female Emperor managed to extend a blade of grass out of the cave and into contact with the swaying common grass outside the cave opening.

As soon as it did, the female Emperor quickly sent out a weak signal to all of her younger brethren within a short range of the lone strain of grass, causing them to rejoice and send part of their life force and spirit power to help the female Emperor recover.

This resulted in the Emperor to slowly grow at a noticeable rate, allowing her to expand her domain a little further every second, and recover her power faster each second as well.

With how quickly the phenomenon was growing, it eventually drew the attention of the girl and animals within the clearing, causing the music to stop, the girl to stare in shock while the animals ran, and a certain drunkard to startle awake in panic, sensing a large movement near where he placed a spiritual marking near Blue Silver Grass Emperor, before bolting straight through the roof of his rundown house in their direction.

After finally taking stock of the situation, the girl smiled and continued to play her music, this time a more light hearted and playful tune as if welcoming new life to the world, or in this case, the return of an already existing one.

'Good morning, Ah Yin, and welcome back to the land of the living.' The girl thought, as the now named Ah Yin gently yet happily swayed and danced her ever expanding body outside of the cave, before slowly approaching the girl and gently hugged and caressed her in loving gratitude.

It was this scene, that the man arrived to, stopping in his tracks while floating in the air, a large war hammer wielded in his right hand and 9 energy rings surrounding him, 2 yellow, 2 purple. 4 black, and 1 red.

Seeing the sight before him, the hammer slipped from his grasp before dissipating into energy particles, as the man limply fell to the ground in shock, awe, despair, love, hope, and pain written all over his face, just staring, frozen.

"Ah— Ah Yin?"
