Chapter 8: Evolution!?
The Archbishop woke up while I was equipping the 'Valkyrie Set'. I placed my extra 'Fortune Ticket' back into the inventory because I was too overwhelmed by the events that happened here. I did not notice him waking up so I decided to open my status and look at the 'Evolution Tab' once more because the last time I was interrupted from evolving into a higher race. I clicked on it and noticed that there is an extra race on the evolution tab. Never in my life I moved my finger so fast just to choose that very evolution that is right in front of my eyes. It's one of my favourite races originating from an anime in my previous world.

I'm not surprised anymore, even I'm curious why the weakness states unknown, someone is pulling strings from above just to make sure I get strong. I believe my current strength right now rivals the 10 strongest symbols in the entire planet and If I gain more power just from my equipment and evolution. I'm sure that I will gain power rivalling those from the top 3! god must be telling me to grow stronger to improve the church's reputation.. Maybe.. Are they related? I guess so that's why god gave me blessings that I can't possibly imagine that Web Novel protagonists will ever gain in such short amount of time.

My body started to glow in a really bright light and the sounds of church bells started to rang. My body slowly gets encased in crystal and after a few minutes my body is covered in crystal.

After what seemed to be a very long time inside the crystal, soon it started to have cracks outside.

The crystal shattered and I soon broke free. It seems like I am not inside the church's treasury but standing on the altar on the church's main halls. I scanned my eyes around and saw people in white, red, blue, green and black robes which I assumed to be priests, sisters and acolytes in front of me with the Archbishop leading them. My parents and family are at the side of the bishop hugging each other and my siblings have tears in their faces, the same with mother.

Ah so that was it. While evolving I was encased in a crystal and woke up several years later. Maybe while evolving it took me years to reconstruct my body inside the crystal. I looked at the broken shards of crystals that serves as a makeshift mirror and noticed that my skin became whiter and smoother, hair is longer with black tips replacing the blonde color, teenage body, violet eyes with a tint of blue, height increased and the most notable figure of a flugel, a pair of angel wings behind the waist and a halo looking ring that has asymmetric formations tilting to the right.

After I gestured to the Archbishop that I am fine. He explained me the gist of things while I was evolving for years. On the first day the church began to glow and a pillar of golden light was released from the center of the church and made the mana swirl around it. My parents contacted the Archbishop and the Archbishop said that I was encased in crystal and that most likely I will not be able to stay at home for a while. After a few hours the Media has come in front of the church and the priests handled them swiftly while hinting that a person who can wield the 'Sword of the Legendary Hero' has been found. While that is true and at the same time it is not the reason why the pillar shot out of the sky. After a few days my parents went inside the church and looked what state I am to be not at home and saw the state I'm in. They accepted it as something good happening to me as they can feel the mana around it has a positive feel.

For the past few years, waves of magic has been flowing inside the church, specifically on me. and that made most mana in the air outside lessen by 30%. The Archbishop also said to expect the people from the Media waiting outside the church.

I made my way to one of the long chairs at the corner and hinting at the Archbishop that I was tired. He dismissed all priests, sisters and acolytes and they all bowed and scattered as they went back to their routine.

Now that's what you call a cheat! The good things that I can say is that my base stats went up making me ridiculously overpowered in Strength, Health and Magic making me a Heavy Hitter or a Hard to kill mage. The downside is looking at my exp it resets back to zero and the exp requirements will take an eternity filling it up back to max even with my exp multiplier skill.

Guess there goes all of my Luck right now. But hey no regrets! I seemed to have become very strong to even solo clear a Mid-class dungeon right now. I look at the title and inspected them to see what effects they have because almost every title in games and novels has effects that may benefit the user.

Damn those titles are really important in giving me an easy headstart. If I don't have them, I'll just become strong and not stronger that has the potential to become the strongest! Looking at the title [ Virtue of Chastity ] it is a title that can be removed and it contradicts with the title [ Extinct Race ]. So the opposite gender is a no go even in this life.

That settles it! If the opposite gender is not allowed, I will go for the same gender! Girls are cuter than boys anyway! Yuri is Life!
