Thought 1 - Why Did I Start Writing?

This was created simply as a stress reliever and maybe somehow be a pastime for you all if there ever is one reading.

So from the title above, why DID I start writing? It actually all stems back from my childhood. Back when I was around 5 or 6, I wanted to write, I wanted to create stories but upon trying to create one, my introverted shy persona stopped me from doing so. I was quite shy for even someone to see me trying to create a story, I thought at the time that it was kind of cringe but in the end, my passion couldn't stop me and I ended up writing one. It was obviously terrible XD but I gathered my courage and created my first forgotten story. It's gone already so don't ask where it is right now. With the sheer embarrassment I faced upon discovering how mad my plot was, I decided to abandon it and pursue my main talent instead.

Fast forward to when this pandemic occurred, school was canceled and I was trying new things. I solved a Rubik's Cube, sure. I watched more anime, sure. But in the anime mainstream, upon watching many and seeing many complaints about the genericness and abundance of many stories, I decided to do it myself. I decided to be the change and turning point. But I was still too shy. I formed a lot of plot points, characters, and a system... but after many weeks of simply storing it inside my head, I noticed that I was simply copying a story of an anime, so I immediately gave up on the idea. After a few weeks, an idea came up, a unique power system was created in my mind, I thought of the characters, the plot points, and the events. And I saw a notebook, I thought my story was revolutionary so I decided to write them down. I showed them in front of my sister one day and she said she was hooked. And thus, my writing rush began, I kept writing and thinking of my story while also being shy. My sister was hooked. Because I was so excited I decided to upload my story in Wattpad. I even made covers for each chapter. But then... school started. And so my writing was halted because of how different online learning was. It ultimately led me to put my first story on hold, up to this day. But while school was in session, I started to analyze my own story and by seeing it, I thought it was intriguing, weird, and... experimental. Since it had a weird plot, I was kinda thinking that my story would fail and I'd get criticized for being a copycat instead, so that also halted me. Upon this time, I thought of something again, a new story. I was skeptical of this concept, but the idea was too unique and if I let another author find out, take the credit, and mess it up. I wouldn't be able to accept it. So I decided to write my second story but this time, instead of writing in a notebook, I wrote it directly on Wattpad. Around this time, someone messaged me, someone from Wattpad, and said my story(the first one), had potential and go to Webnovel instead. Of course, I was so excited, but there didn't seem to be additional views on my chapters ;-; seems sussy. But after thinking, I took upon the offer and posted my stories on Webnovel. I got more views than in Wattpad and it made me so so happy. But no one seemed to be reading my first story, no reviews(except my sister's), comments, or anything, so I continued on with my second story. In my second story, I was more confident, I had very clear direction and good concepts. It was made to be the deconstruction of the Slice-of-Life genre. With this story, I got my very first review. It wasn't really a review but it made me happy. After a few chapters, I knew I made something good so I just kept at it. finally... it paid off. I got my very first LEGIT review, though, it was a few words, I couldn't describe how overjoyed I was, they said my novel was excellent. So thinking I had something going on, I decided to share it with my discord friends. I was a Minecraft player, at the time, and I joined a server and made friends. I shared them. Then one of them took notice, and absolutely adored my work, it was her favorite novel of all time, and I was. glad to have created the story in the first place. She was my loyal reader. She even shared it with her friends and they all adored it as well. I was so happy that day. But only she remained to be very loyal to my works, and probably the main reason I still keep writing. It was then that, I asked my sister to do a cover. She was a very great artist so I asked her, then, my first proffesional cover was born. It increased the views by a long shot and I got more collections. I kept writing more and more... until something happened. My Facebook account linked to many, many accounts including my Wattpad and Webnovel was hacked. So I ended up abandoning my stories and my second story was left to 18 chapters(The title is A Mob Character Surrounded By Main Characters Wants to be an MC). I was devastated. After a few weeks of not writing, I created my third story to recover, in this account. And so following the footsteps of my second story, it got a cover, good reviews, and my loyal reader loved it. But school started shortly after... and I cannot write because I'm almost always busy already. But here's the thing, if you wanna write, just write. If you're shy, I won't tell you to just not be shy, that's unreasonable, write it in a personal notebook, or write it as a draft on a website. Just write. A few words from an amateur author.
