Chapter 34 I Love You

It's been a few days and I'm already healed physically from losing the baby. I still cried randomly now and then. Drago has been my biggest support through all of it. I took a deep breath as we walked into my dad's office. My dad looked up and smiled seeing us. I looked up at Drago for support and nodded his head encouragingly. I looked back at my dad "I wanna join the pack officially." I announced to him. His smile grew bright and he almost jumped up from his chair "Of course! We will plan the ceremony for the next half-moon." he told us. I sighed relieved then remembered the other reason why we had come here "Daddy why did you let Logan leave it has to be more than just a contract... what's really going on?" I interrogated.

My father sighed as he looked at us carefully "It has to do with the man who raised you... He's out of jail thanks to his hunter buddies. He's been saying that you killed his son in cold blood then framed him. The Hunters are gathering to start a war. Unfortunately, we need all the alliances we can get, and if I broke my word to another pack I risk losing the support of all the others, whether I'm the black wolf king or not." He clenched his fists angrily "I will find a way to get you out of this Alice I promise." he vowed. I felt my blood boiling. That bastard dared to lie and say that I would have hurt Tyson like that! Drago could feel my anger through the bond we had and gently hugged me from behind. I took a deep breath inhaling his scent to calm myself down. I needed to go for a run, Cinder needed to stretch her legs as well. Drago picked up on it quickly "Let's go for a run." he offered. I nodded and waved goodbye to my father.

We ran out of the house and to the nearby woods. Without a second thought, I shifted into Cinder's beautiful wolf form shredding all of the clothes I had on. Soon I was playfully tackled by something huge, white, and fluffy. I tackled back playfully loving how our fur clashed and mixed, like ink spreading on fresh snow. We soon began to run for a good two to three hours it's hard to tell exactly how long without a watch. We were laying in a meadow relaxing and catching our breath. I looked at Drago admiring him when a thought flitted across my mind. How did he know about my birthmark? What I didn't expect was to hear his voice in the back of my mind answering me [When you passed out that day I finished getting you dressed and noticed it sorry.] he apologized. I tilted my head and thought I saw him huff in a laugh of some sort. Was this part of our mate bond? He nodded answering my thought. I playfully growled at him [Stop reading my thoughts before I make you regret it.] I warned.

He tilted his head and got up stalking over to me in a way that was daring me to try it. I mentally smirked and as he was almost over me I shifted back to my human form. I stood before him completely bare and winked at him. He stopped dead in his tracks whimpering but I wasn't done messing with him. I started to imagine some naughty scenarios of us out here in the woods knowing he was still listening to my thoughts. He laid down and gently licked my leg pleading for me to let him make the fantasies true. Cinder was begging me to let him, guess this plan had backfired a bit. I ran my hands down his fur from his head, down his neck, onto his side than to his underbelly I stopped as I got closer making him whimper. I giggled and shifted back to my wolf form. He playfully growled at me as we ran back home.

Once we were near the house I shifted and changed into some spare clothes. When we both came out our eyes locked and he stalked towards me. I knew I was in for it and ran for the house, but fuck was this big guy fast. His arms wrapped around me and lifted me into the air. In one swift movement, he managed to turn me to face him as he pressed my back against the side of the house. I could also feel a different pressure lower down making my eyes grow wide. He leaned in caressing my cheek with one hand while the other held me in place. I gently closed my eyes as the distance between us closed and our lips connected. My hands snaked their way around his neck and into his hair pulling him closer. His lips tasted so good I couldn't get enough. I needed more. He quickly pulled away but still held me "Bunny if you keep thinking like that... I don't want you to do something you don't want." he whispered worriedly. I cupped his face lovingly "Drago there's something I should have said much sooner but here goes nothing. I love you, Drago. You're my soulmate and the only mate I ever want from this day forward." I told him.

His face went from shocked to ecstatic "I love you too Alice!" he yelled happily and began leaving little kisses all over my face. I giggled at his behavior and enjoyed the moment. This was the happiest I remember feeling in a long time. I gently stopped his kisses then looked at him seriously "I need you to do something for me." I told him. He furrowed his brows taking my statement seriously "Anything. What is it my little bunny?" he asked tucking a lock of hair behind my ear. I breathed deeply gaining my courage " I want you to make me forget the feeling of his hands on my body, make me forget the feeling of him inside me... please." I begged him.
