Chapter 48: I Am Stella!

“I bet you're wondering how all this is possible,” Victor steps off the bench and stands in front of Erin. He crosses his arms as a smug grin crawls lazily across his face. “What, did you really believe that Erin rejected me? Wait no, did you really believe that I’d let Erin reject me?”

Victor shakes his head and huffs in disbelief. Erin growls softly, nudging Victor’s back with his paw. They’re here to stop her from taking over the pack, not poke and prod her into going on a full rampage.

Erin wants this to end with as little bloodshed as possible.

Victor doesn’t take the hint. Resentment falls off him in waves, like a faucet that’s been blocked for so long and is finally unclogged. He uncrosses his arms and takes a step toward Stella, his is voice deep when he sneers, “Wow, Stella, you really think you’re the greatest actress alive, huh. I mean, what did you expect? After living with you for so long, it’s only natural that we’d pick up some tips and tricks.”
