Chapter 13: Camera Evidence
Erin closes his car door as slow as possible to avoid any loud noise before skulking toward the shed to get his camera. He only realized when he was choosing an outfit for his lunch with Layla and Alex the next day that his camera bag was empty. He can’t take photos of them as he promised without it.
A small part of him blames Victor for it.
Ever since he started avoiding Victor, Erin’s had this pounding migraine. No amount of wet cloths to the forehead or medicine will make it go away. Werewolves and mates. The whole thing is ridiculous. Erin wonders if that was why Stella had told him to stay away – rich families always tend to hide away the crazy family member. The only good thing about all this was Stella glared at Erin less. Erin found she wasn’t stalking their work sites as much, the shining red of her hair no longer in his peripheral vision.
But with Stella gone, his eyes were left looking.
