5 5. Time

Adam didn't have time to look back, as two whole months flew by. For two months n was in this strange world and, in principle, got along well here. But the more time he spent in Newtopia, the more he felt stagnant. He was no longer moving on the investigation, there was not a single clue, not even in Olivia's library.

Adam had already read all the books in the library and found nothing. He also bought all the books in stores and from merchants, but even there there was practically nothing. The only clue he had in two months was a conversation between two merchants about the "ruins".

And for a few copper coins, they happily told Adam about the ruins. These were the buildings of the forerunners, those who lived long before them. No one wants to enter them, the fear of death is too great. They have been standing untouched for more than a thousand years since their discovery.
