Bang!!!!

All of the decorations in the extravagant room were all thrown roughly to the floor. The red rose flower, diamond chandelier by the side was also not spared.

"Kiara, what are you doing dear?" A middle aged man cried.

A dark eyes stared down at the man on the wheelchair full of pure hatred and disgust.

"Father, stay out of this" She yelled. Beside her was an handsome man sitting plainly on the wheelchair. Pain flashed in his eyes as he watched his beloved woman destroy all of the entire Valentine decorations he happily prepared to surprise her. A weak smile crept on his pained face, he tightly held on to the ring in his hands.

But that little thing unexpectedly fell to the ground

****Cling****

The city's socialites stood dumbfounded by the sound. They followed the small like ring till it stopped by Kiara's feet. That was the world's most expensive ring and rare to find but Mr Feng owned it and most especially to propose to her on Valentine. How gentlemanly!!! They thought that maybe this will open her eyes to pity the man who was already heartbroken by her hurtful words. But who would have thought that the moment her hand touched the diamond ring. She would fret.

"Were you thinking of proposing to me?" She sneered at the man. "What do you think of yourself?? Why would I want to marry you? For goodness sake I am not blind to marry a cripple"

Ah!!!!

Gasp rippled throughout the room.

"I think that's enough Kiara" Feng Wen cried as he watched his brother's silent expression. He felt annoyed to see his brother's attitude. Won't he talk back to stop her?? Did he love getting humiliated by this small girl before him??

"That's enough Kiara. Just because he isn't saying anything doesn't mean you can insult him as you like" He cried.

*****Clap clap****

Kiara chuckled as she watched the brothers "You and your useless brother are not worth my time you see. Have you brothers got no shame at all? He is an oldie ok. Do you expect me to marry him? The ungrateful and useless Feng Li" She spat

Pak!!!

"Dad!" The socialites didn't expect the man to slap his most precious daughter publicly. They all thought he would side with her. After all, she was saying the truth. Mr Feng had been known useless after the accident that cost him his legs.

"You unfilial child, is this how I trained you? Where is your respect?" He yelled "If not for him, do you think you will still be alive?? You are the real cause of his predicament"

"That is none of my business...I didn't tell him to save me then, did I?? I was already prepared to be hit by the truck but he just have to ruin it. I was prepared to die, to leave this damn world" 

Another gasp came out of the room. This was news. Valentine day turned into a relationship chaos.

"Do you hear what you are spouting out? If your mother heard this from you, what do you think she would do?? She would be terribly hurt" The man muttered. Kiara noticed the pain and agony in his eyes from what she said. She was angry and frustrated. She wanted them all to hate her.

"I am sorry" She cried with her head lowered to the ground "I said that out of anger" She sniffed but before she knew it she was in tears sobbing.

"I just want to be free, I don't want to be tied down to a loveless marriage. I don't even love him, why then should I marry him?"

The man sighed and asked "He is nice to you, he even shows you a lot of love. Don't you see my dear, he is in love with you? You can't just berate him because he is crippled. The most important thing is that he loves you"

"But...i...don't...love...him, I love someone else" She yelled.

The man beside her clenched his hands in a fist and seethed his teeth in anger.

"I have said this before, I wont ever love him, not now or ever. In fact, the mere look of him disgusts me. He can't even stand up or move on his own and I don't want to be a slave ok....I don't want to feed him like some baby. And dad, he can't do it you know"

Pah!!!!

Her tears fell like flowing water.

"Mr Su, it's alright" The silent man finally spoke up. He looked at Kiara with missed emotion. He moved closer towards her to hold her hand but she pushed him away and glared at him.

"Don't touch me!! I hate you.....hate you" She yelled. Feng Wen could not bear to see his brother's longing expression anymore. That was enough. He had had enough of her words. 

"Brother I think we should leave, she doesn't deserve you" Feng Li remained quiet, his gaze full of love was still set on the little girl. If he lost her now, he definitely won't handle it.

"Kiara, can we talk privately" He asked hoping she would agree. The girl turned her crying face to him. His heart seethed in pain seeing her like that. He wished he could stand up and kiss her senseless but no one other than him knew he was crippled for life. Not even the best doctors in the world could help. 

Kiara cried with her hands on her chest. She looked around to see different faces. One of envy, hatred, pity and disgust. Even her father was one of them. She squatted to the floor and cried hard.

"I am sorry, I just don't want to be with him. Why does it seem like I did something wrong? I don't know....maybe it is.....better this way" She broke tearfully.

When she thought everything was over. She felt something warm wrapped around her body. Then murmurs.

"You are not alone anymore, I will be with you forever. I am yours to fret, yell and berate but you don't have the right to hate me" The chilly masculine tone made her stiffen.

"So since I am no longer crippled, will you marry me??"

What?!!!

No longer crippled!!!

Her beautiful face twitched when she saw the empty wheelchair.

No way!! I am doomed.
