Merry Christmas( Christmas Special

2020 was R O U G H. There is no denying that, Something that got me through this year was Wattpad reading and writing.

Something I've seen people do is 4D making the characters in their story interact with the author and readers. I think that's cute so here is a special Christmas chapter featuring the ones you know and love, Lyra, Kiro, Roman, and Hile.

-------

Third Person Pov

It was Christmas Eve at the castle and for the past week, all of the staff were hurrying along getting everything ready for tomorrow. However, tucked away in her bedroom was a certain blond.

Lyra: You make it sound like I was hiding. WHICH WASNT THE CASE! Here's what really happened

Lyra's Pov

For the past week, it was as if I couldn't catch a break. Everyone was constantly on me to get my opinion on everything. It was wearing me out and my only friend at the palace was too busy to spend time with me.

"Lyr, You have been in that bed for hours, Its high noon, get up!" I pulled the sheets over my head as Kiro spoke.

"Don't Wanna!" I complained.

"Why- I- Lyra! You are a princess you cannot sit in your bed all day, and you certainly can't use the excuse that you; Don't Want to," Kiro replied. "Fine then, If you don't want to get up I suppose I will just have to tell this man that's been waiting on you for an hour that you don't want to see him."

"ROMAN?" I shouted sitting up and rushing to the door. "You're not Roman," My mood fell right back to its depts that it was at before.

Kiro: In my defense, I never said It was, and I had to get her out of bed somehow.

Lyra: Yeah well you didn't have to get my hopes up only to let me down

I went back inside to change and then left to walk around with Hile.

"Where is he?" I questioned quietly to myself.

"I can hear you Lyra, and Roman is going to be here soon," I groaned.

"Soon is too long, I barely know anyone in this huge palace and he is the only fun person here, No offense you are just so strict you don't allow yourself to have fun." He nodded at my comment.

"I'm the head guard, I have to be strict, I'm sorry Lyra," I just sighed and shook it off.

The one thing keeping me sane was seeing all of the gorgeous decorations being put up for Christmas, all the final touches.

I wandered towards a window and sat on the window sill. Of course, Hile followed me.

"Any way someone could get me a pillow, if not it's fine," I asked. Almost instantly Hile sent someone to get a pillow for me. "Oh and that book that I was reading please."

I watched the snow falling and the people out the window carrying carts of vegetables and trying to stay warm, hurrying to get home. Just then someone brought me a pillow and the book I was reading the night before.

I spent at least an hour just sitting at the window, my head leaning against the cold glass and listening to peoples talking.

Roman's Pov

I heard from a house cleaner that Lyra was losing her mind since she was quote 'exhausted' and that she needed to chat with a friend. At the point when I at long last found her, I strolled over and said.

"Lyr?"

Hile who was just standing near Lyra called me over and said, "You know, she was freaking out earlier?"

"I heard," I sighed. "I'm gonna go chat with her for a bit."

I strolled over and sat down opposite Lyra, tapping her shoulder to stand out enough to be noticed.

"Roman! Merry Christmas," She said putting her book down.

"Merry Christmas. Do you want to go outside and walk around the village?" I asked

She nodded and I, Lyra, and Hile left the palace, after getting Lyra's coat, and walked to the village. It wasn't a long walk it was just past some steps and a little path to the market.

"There are still people here? What about their families?" Lyra looked around at the few remaining people.

"I'm sure they will return home soon." Hile chimed in.

Lyra's wandering eyes found a small booth with a necklace, it was nothing a princess could wear after all it was much too simple.

"Can I get this one?" Lyra asked the clerk. "Oh wait, I'm so sorry, I forgot to bring money," Sighing she hung her head and walked away.

We all looked around for a while and headed back to the palace, where I would have to part with them.

Hile's Pov

When Lyra realized she couldn't get the necklace her mood dropped majorly. She's always up and down, we expect this from her but she really looked disappointed.

Lyra: Well yeah, the necklace reminds me of home. My home in the 21st century.

Kiro: Nobody said it was bad- Wait, arent you a princess? and the main character? Just steal it.

Lyra: Shut up Kiro I'm trying to read the story.

What a shame, the clerk has probably gone home for Christmas by now. Lyra went back to the window she was at prior and sat down to read and watch the people outside.

At one point a bird had come and smashed into the window randomly. That scared her so she screamed and fell backward to the floor. I held back laughter and helped her up, making sure she was okay.

"Hile?"

"Yes, Lyra?"

"Can we go to the kitchen, I wanna see what they are making?

"I suppose, it is almost supper, no harm in that," And with that, I escorted Lyra to the kitchen where she began to cook along with our chefs.

One and A Half Hours Later

Lyra's Pov

I was getting incredibly bored, so I decided to go to the room where some presents were left for me by the people of the town.

That's where I found Roman and I let Hile leave to go home to see his family. I and Roman opened some presents and then he pulled out a small box.

"I got you something Lyr," Roman smiled as he handed me the box.

"Oh really?" opening the box I asked. It was the necklace from earlier. I was ecstatic, I was sure someone else bought it or that the clerk went home. "Thank you." I gave Roman my biggest smile.

It was getting pretty late so Roman took me to the throne room to talk to my parents and then took me to my bedroom where we parted and I went to sleep for the night.

I really hope you enjoyed the special Chapter for Christmas.
