Poem 5: Friendship

Friendship

Friends keep us fighting.

When life continues biting.

The bonds that bind us.

Develop creatures that much.

But the pain is clear.

When betrayal is near.

Perhaps trusting the branch.

Was always the catch.

Friendship is easy.

When life is early.

But once wisdom comes.

Bonds become undone.

The abandonment kills.

This person who quills.

As she reoccurs time.

To begin a mime.

The laughter that echoed.

Replaced by angry bellows.

The loyalty that grew.

Flapped wings and ew.

The heart is empty.

Where the happiness was stored ineptly. Questions build and twist.

As this writer is blinded with mist. Missing a time of hope.

With pains of a breaking bone. As she reiterates shock.

Of the loss of her ock. Memories grow cruel.

As she readies for the duel. To punish the traitors. Who cry tears of alligators. Warriors look upon.

Now the battle is done.

She recalls a time of laughter. Whilst wishing for the life after. Friends are ckle with laughter. As they are craftier.

They live in pretense.

Because that's all that makes sense.
