Chapter 4: Returning Home

A stormy night on social networks.

"Oh my god! Is there still a white lotus flower like this?"

"My Amanda fell into the lake..."

"Amanda is also too arrogant.

"People come to apologize without any respect."

"Who's right and who's wrong, don't say anything, but spilling your own coffee and then slandering others is not okay."

"Is this the time when Amanda and Elena's friendship is about to end?"

Amanda crossed her legs in an excited mood, scrolling through each comment. She also ignored the curious eyes that seemed to be looking at her. Her fingers couldn't help but want to press a like for the last comment. It was interrupted by Winter coming over.

"Miss Amanda, Mr. Vance is calling."

Amanda smacked her lips and replied:

"I wont answer."

If I answer the phone, I will definitely be scolded. 

Winter looked a little awkward and apologetic as she directly turned on the speakerphone. Vance Walter's piercing voice suddenly echoed as if it wanted to bombard everything around her.

"You're so brave! Make a mess and turn off your cell phone. If you don't find a mess for me one day, you'll die! Obediently film something online and don't get involved anymore, you hear me!"

Amanda's face turned sour for a moment, and she glared at Winter sadly. The girl immediately shrank back and ran away.

Amanda has been very nice to her these days, but when she gets angry, she still doesn't have the courage to be near her, so she just runs ahead and thinks about it.

Jasper, who was sleeping next to her, was also awakened by the noise. He stretched his legs slightly and asked Amanda in a very suggestive tone.

Amanda's tears fell like rain, she rushed to hug him tightly.

Amanda greedily felt the warmth on her body, it seemed to be warming her cold heart.

"Are you coming to visit me or do you want to find Elena Lewis?"

"You'd better put aside your thoughts about her. If you have anything to do with her, you'll be as good as not having this sister."

Diego heard her threats and could only laugh.

"Did you two have some misunderstanding?"

Amanda frowned, there was no way to suppress the frustration in her heart when she saw him defending Elena.

Therefore, her voice was somewhat sharper.

"She wants to kill your sister! What misunderstanding could there be?"

Diego's seemingly empty smile disappeared in an instant. He looked slightly solemn at Amanda who was trying to stabilize her heaving breathing.

"Amanda, what do you mean by killing you?"

Amanda took a deep breath, turned her head and looked coldly straight into Diego's eyes.

"If one person could live, between me and Elena Lewis, who would you choose?"

Before Diego could answer, Amanda interrupted first.

The car quickly arrived back at Solis's house. Amanda slowly got out of the car, a bit strange but familiar looking at the house in front of him.

"Amanda..."

At the door, two silhouettes appeared. Amanda looked bewildered at them as they approached, but her legs felt like someone had filled them with lead and couldn't move.

Her vision was quickly blurred by tears, sadness and joy welled up in her heart, she moved her lips and softly called:

"Dad, mom..."

Milena Solis ran first. The woman was already over 40 years old, but the outside is well maintained, so the inside is still very young.

She had tears in her eyes but still looked sulky and lightly hit Amanda.

"Bad girl, does she even know the way home?"

Amanda raised her hand to wipe away her tears, smiled and proactively went to hug her.

Kevin Solis also wanted to hug his child, but his wife took him one step ahead, so he had no choice but to give up.

Milena smiled and said to Amanda.

"Come inside quickly, mom made cakes that you'd like to eat."

The mother and daughter held hands closely and walked into the house. Kevin also ran after, leaving only Diego, who was treated like nothing by his parents and stood there blankly.

He felt a bit helpless and looked up at the sky. He remembered the times he had returned home and was chased away, but couldn't help but sigh.

On the contrary, Amanda was very happy, the two left and right kept asking about all kinds of things.

Kevin Solis's face was also not very good when he spoke up to stop his wife who was still about to scold his son, so the family of four went into the dining room to have dinner together.
