Amalgam Universe Beast Boy

This book will be LOOSELY based on Amalgam Comics. An old combination of DC and Marvel with a few more things added for my enjoyment. A 36 year old Garfield Logan is a military veteran working a Museum security job. A robbery goes wrong and our story begins. He finds himself in a different body and wouldn’t you know it he doesn't just have to worry about a big purple nut chinned simp that wants to kill 50% of all living things to impress his crush, Death (Balance my A&&). But he also has to worry about an Anti Lifer whose look really can kill. Seriously Darkseid, take up a hobby, learn to paint with more than the blood of the innocent. Set up an adoption agency for abused space animals and retired Paradeamon’s. Something, just leave Earth alone. This is my first time writing and I am doing it for my enjoyment. Will look forward to comments and constructive criticism but complaints will have a better chance of getting to me of you scream them out your window and I happen to be walking by at that time. My greatest hope is that this story will inspire someone else to write a story I will enjoy. Going to shoot for daily release but I have to work to do the things I enjoy so we will see. I don’t own the Pic’s or the Original Characters concepts. Also I accidently placed this in Novel instead of FanFic so moved it. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Parliament of Limbs

Losing access to the morphing abilities of The Red would be terrible for me. Granted I do not think it would be catastrophic with my Telepathy and whatever other advantages the scientists added into my cloned DNA.

Suddenly the idea of a Kryptonian powered super shape shifter went through my head. So cool!!!

Banishing such overpowered thoughts, I looked at Monkey "Didn't you say I was a treasure trove to The Red? Why are you suddenly threatening me with the loss of access to it?"

"Just wanted to make you aware of the possibility, not threaten you. Now it looks like I am being summoned, stay here, and continue your practice." Monkey turned and sprinted off, fading out of view.

Despite Monkey telling me to practice I had to sit down and think about the predicament my corporeal body was in. Cloned or not, it is mine now and I would like to break it free of its drug induced confinement.

There is a world of dreams and nightmares out there just begging for exploration. Thinking of what little I have managed to piece together I thought about the difference between DC and Marvel.

DC = Killing is never allowed unless it is against automatons or mass-produced clones (So unfair). Bearable in extremes only with lots of moping around after.

Marvel = Killing hundreds is frowned upon. But if you have a slightly compelling reason, all it requires is a mini arch where you show some regret then you are a hero again. Or if you are Deadpool then all bets are off, and you pray your name is not Francis and that you do not have any sink cleaner in your shopping basket...

The little hints I'm getting about a combination of the two worlds should prove to be interesting, in a terrifying sort of way.

All I can think to do is get as much information as I can from the scientist and see if there is a way out through him. Maybe I can control him long enough to get out.

Better set some back up plans though, just in case. If I remember correctly there is an underground cavern the Young Justice league use to rid Blue Beatle of The Reach's control.

I wonder if I could pull off the Graboid monster from that early 90's movie Tremors, they moved through the ground fast as hell. Fixing the visual in my head I feal my body elongate, and I lose my eyesight. Quickly using my mind, I look over my body and think that's perfect. Really don't think I want to try and dig through the ground in the Cosmic plane of The Red though, just to be safe.

Letting the image go I revert to normal and continue to think up contingency plans.

After what felt like hours, I saw Monkey sauntering back with a smile on his face. "Boy, I don't know what you did but not long after The Parliament of Limbs started discussing your fate, I swear I felt excitement from it like never before. "

"It went from thinking about limiting your access to giving you the best of everything possible while leaving room to grow on your own in a matter of minutes." Monkey said excitedly.

After putting it together, I realized the only thing I did unusual was the form I had taken. Quickly shifting back to the Graboid I telepathically said, {Bet this is the reason, I was thinking of using this to escape in the ground if necessary.} Then reverted to normal.

"Yup that must be it, I have no recollection of that form until now. The Red must have added it when you shifted into it. You are definitely a treasure." Monkey replied out loud.

Well since I won't be with you after you leave The Red, The Parliament pulled out all the stops and gave you this.

Reaching for whatever was in his hand, I was surprised when he poured what seemed like a very viscous liquid into my hand. "What do I want with this syrup? Am I supposed to drink it?"

"Well, you can but it looks like it's working just fine absorbing into your hand."

Looking down I see about ¾ of the liquid is gone already. "Want to explain Monkey?"

"Sure Gar, that is good old Parliament of Limbs Sap. Straight out of The Red consciousness itself."

"What is it supposed to do, with Martian blood you said I have a line to the purest flow in The Red"

"What it will do is entirely dependent on you Gar, and yes, I am intentionally being vague, so I don't influence anything. Speaking of that, please don't tell Garfield or anyone for that matter about The Red as it can influence their individual growth. Let them find their own path to here if they are able."

This being one of the few times I saw a serious look in Monkey's eyes I took it to heart as I nodded in assurance. "If at all possible, I won't speak about it. Though even if I do escape my current predicament, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have some Martians at the very least poking around in my head to make sure I'm not some Trojan horse or Judas."

"Your new little friend should help with that but if it does come out just let them know they will be limiting their friend's growth if they speak of it at best. At worst The Red will revoke access completely and they will no longer be in the running for Avatar of The Red." Monkey said seriously.

"Avatar of The Red?" I ask. "Your just now at the starting line, don't get ahead of yourself boy." Monkey replies.

Monkey walks up to the red wall and places his head on it then says. "The one you call Psimon is about to finish walking out of the room you are in. Once he is gone, I would head back and take charge of your body if I were you. The Parliament of Limbs sap will transfer over once you do and make the body change to its peak of health, so you won't have to worry about the drugs in the chamber with you."

"I guess I shouldn't be surprised by the time flow difference here. Will you remember me if you see me out there?" I question

"If there is a reason to, maybe I will." Take care kid.

With that encouragement I go to the red wall and push my way back into the brain I will be settling into soon. Leaving The Red with lots of plans.

Moving slowly across the conscious of my body I look around and make sure Psimon didn't leave any triggers or traps lying around for me to stumble upon.

Not wanting to do anything drastic that might register on the machines Mido was responsible for watching. I started to build my mental castle that would house and defend my consciousness.

I remember that some psychics did this to help with mental exercises and well when in Rome do Rome and when in Comics do Comics. Deciding on a simple Japanese wood and paper looking house with multiple rooms for separate activities I tried to make it plane but comfortable. Adding a formidable wall for protection.

Moving to the library I made multiple bookshelves and labeled them as simply as I could. The first one was labeled Garfield Logan (36) and I watched it fill with books about my memories.

Taking all the books that had my Comic and Anime knowledge I put them on the bottom shelf and enlarged my size, so I was standing over the bookshelf.

Placing my hand on top of the bookshelf I pushed the bottom shelf into the floor until it looked like it didn't exist.

Next, I built a bookshelf and named it Garfield Logan (8) and filled it with the memories Monkey had unlocked from my blood.

I made sure to have the bookshelf's the same height to insure no one would suspect a false bottom on one of them.

Stepping out of the library I see a hall with multiple doors, all different colors. A green door that was open. Next to it was a white door then across from the green door is a red door and finally across from the white door is a yellow one. There was also still room in the hallway for more doors.

Ignoring the obvious implications the color represents, I leave the house to make my defenses as strong as i can. Then its time to start living in this new world.
