The Capitol of Dato

As we fly over the capital, I look down to see it bustling with people. The capital itself was pretty large even from looking at it from above. Right beside the capital is a large oasis.

I look up to see the bird ahead of me fly next to me. The knight points at me and then at the ground.

I hold up my hand motioning to wait.

I look around trying to find a place to land but find nothing. With no other choice, I decided to land right outside the walls. As the plane rolls to a stop, guards immediately raise their swords at us.

I raise my hands as I jump out of the plane saying, “We come in peace.”

I’m immediately tackled to the ground. They tie my hands behind my back and tell me to get up. They do the same to everyone else.

“Alright then,” I said. “This is not what I expected at all.”

We’re led past the front gates and into the city.
