Sudden Announcement (3)

"Let me fight you."

The Professor could hear Soobin's clear yet calming voice, as she looked at the screen, she saw how Eunbi looked worried.

"I think this isn't the right time."

She heard the worry in Eunbi's voice as she continued watching, but she didn't care, she immediately skipped to the part where the fight would begin.

As she finally found the part where it finally started, she wondered just how proficient they were.

"You're already manifesting a different type of Aura."

He heard Sunwoo exclaim as Soobin unsheathed his sword and was preparing, suddenly she saw that Sunwoo summoned another red sword other than the one he was currently holding.

"I congratulate you for achieving that feat but now I see a good training dummy."

After Sunwoo had finished The Professor saw that Sunwoo was lunging towards Soobin, Soobin got into a defensive stance ready to block and counter Sunwoo.

"Stop!"

Eunbi yelled, seeing that Sunwoo had already stricken Soobin, her instincts of protecting Soobin kicked in, as she was about to buff Soobin by raising her staff.

"No."

Joo-hyun had already appeared behind Eunbi and immediately used her shadows to wrap her staff and mouth, a dagger had also been placed on her throat.

Eunbi was startled as she got slowly encased in dark wraps leaving only her nostrils free to allow her to breath but wrapped her strong enough so that she couldn't move, she then placed her dagger back to her pocket as Joo-hyun watched Sunwoo and Soobin go at it.

The Professor could see that Sunwoo's current technique was of pure recklessness as if he was swinging without thinking much while Soobin blocked and was pressured.

"Faster!"

She heard Sunwoo yell, this time his swings towards Soobin was even more fiercer and faster to the point that there were now cuts on his clothes.

As if waiting for an opportunity, Soobin finally parried and broke the pattern, he immediately went at Sunwoo who was staggered.

"Not quite."

Eunkyung said as she looked at the fight, just as Soobin was about to stab through Sunwoo, Sunwoo immediately contorted his body and kicked Soobin's stomach and created distance between them.

In a short moment Eunkyung acknowledged and saw that Sunwoo used his divine power by creating wings on his back to help his body rotate at a faster pace allowing him to do what he just did.

Just as Soobin was staggered and trying to remain steady, Sunwoo charged at him again not giving him a moment to stabilize.

Eunkyung had a satisfied look, Soobin was good at stalling but against Sunwoo who didn't stop his onslaught of sword strikes Soobin was forced to only defend.

Soobin was holding his ground which was more than enough to say that he had skill even with his Aura, and speaking of Aura, Sunwoo had a distinct advantage and that he was born with Divine Power.

But even then with that type of advantage Soobin was more than enough doing well with pure techniques alone, she guessed that he wasn't rated highly by the other professors for nothing, he had the talent she will give him that.

She continued watching for another five minutes until it was over, as she was about to close the video as she had just seen what had happened after she heard Sunwoo say something as Soobin finally let his sword down as he was exhausted to the core.

Sunwoo then went near Soobin and with his loud voice as if he intended for everyone to hear him.

"You did good, at least better than I expected but don't expect me to cater to your demands, I don't intend to be the only being used."

Sunwoo said as he punched Soobin on the lungs which made him cough and kneel.

"I appreciate that you want to improve but I don't want to be used like this, at the very least make me feel like I'm also improving at something, you're just being a pushover in my eyes if you intend to use me as a live training dummy."

Without a second thought The Professor then saw Sunwoo kick Soobin's face.

"Nothing personal Soobin, just wanted to do it."

Soobin finally took his sword again and held himself, Sunwoo shook his head and then turned away, but stopped for a moment.

"If you want me to take you seriously, get better."

Sunwoo then left along with Joo-hyun, Professor Eunkyung then stopped the video and shook his head wondering what Sunwoo had meant, how much effort did he put?

Was Soobin bad or was Sunwoo too good? For now it was too early to tell, but personally she wanted to see how these two would grow just from this point he could tell from the video that Soobin finally looked determined.

"Teaching is hard."

She exclaimed, for the first time in her career as a professor she had two competent students that were too talented for their group.

She didn't mind but she liked the challenge and then she began planning, not only for Sunwoo and Soobin, but for the entire class, for the class to atleast not be a liability and be of actual help in the future.

"Ah damn it I don't get paid enough for this, but how do I plan for Sunwoo and Soobin."

Just as she was thinking of them on the other side of the academy someone sneezed that their partner was curious of their condition.

"You okay?"

"Probably?"

I had just sneezed, perhaps this place wasn't cleaned yet I do have a sensitive nose after all.

"Was the kick necessary? Even I think it was overboard"

"I don't mind besides it was a warning for everyone else that they shouldn't waste my time like that and like I said I hate being used as a training dummy and most of all I hate people wasting my time."

"But it looked like you were having fun."

Joo-hyun commented but was startled when she saw me that I stopped walking.

"Didn't you had fun when you finally managed to bind someone?"

"Eunbi was different and you're a monster compared to her but I did have my fun in finally succeeding."

"I guess you do smile from time to time."

I commented as I she couldn't hide the fact that she was happy, I did overpower her in terms of Mana capacity and control that's why she could never bind me.

"Well to be honest, I won't benefit much from Soobin since he we won't be teammates and the reason why I'm helping you is because you're my partner at the end of the day."

"Is that so."

"What about it."

"Nothing."

I rolled my eyes, from time to time she is annoying when she is thinking while speaking as if every word from a person means something deeper.

"Let's go I'm quite hungry."

"Alright alright you can eat what you want for today."

"I don't even follow your plan."

"I know."

I didn't say anything else as we both went towards the café, but I did feel a gaze, I won't mind it for now but I'll beat some sense into the one who gave it to me later.
