The next morning.

"Where am I?" staying up, August questioned in daze.

He was surprised to find himself  on the bed.

"How come I am here?" August thought to himself as he didn't remember walking to the bed.

"Oh! Young master you are awake!"  Still pondering , August suddenly heard Henef's voice from up front.

Henef was holding a tray full of food in his hand that he prepared for his young master.

After August left the martial academy, Henef was summoned by Ron, and surprisingly Ron offered him two options.

Either henef can be the city lord or he could have a martial token.

Of course, Henef chose  the latter.

City lord may be a tempting position and he might have also chosen to be a city lord if someone had   asked him the same question outside the martial academy.

The martial academy is a holy place and no one except for the martial students could enter it, not even their parents. Only the parents of inner students are allowed to enter the academy for some time while the core disciple's have the privilege to let their family live inside the martial academy.

City lord position was tempting for sure but  once henef became aware of the martial academy inner environment  after seeing it up close, the city lord position was but just a drop in the boundless sea to him.

After taking the martial token as his final reward Henef was about to left when  Ron stopped him and  gave him August outer student pass, At first he was surprised ( in a bad way) , as he was thinking that the young master would at least be chosen as inner disciple, but after pondering over it for some time he became pleased.

An martial token is an special pass that will allow it holder to be outer  disciple of the martial academy, Henef selected it for his son, Henef didn't know if his son is Good or bad in terms of cultivation but he did know someone who is talented enough to Help is son,  young master.

So he was displeased when Ron offered him a bronze token for August  just like his own, but after thinking about it he became delighted enough to be on Seventh heavens. He exited the martial academy with a big smile on his face.

He was hardly containing his excitement to jump to the sky, suppressing his excitement he decided to pay a visit to Young master (August) House first to give him his identity token as well as please him to help his son.

But the moment he arrived at his destination he found a young master(August) Laying on the Ground while Groaning in pain and drenched in sweat all over his body , that sight shocked him,  Aghast henef  hurriedly approached the young master(August) body and helped him with the later.

Henef you…." August looked at the party in front of him somewhat surprised.

"Young master, You should eat this first and recover your energy properly we can talk about it later." Henef didn't answer August, instead he approached him with a tray full of exotic dishes in his hand.

But…." August insisted but the next second.

Growl~~~

"Ok, then let's talk about it later." August waved his hand and looked at the Food tray in front of him.

For the first time, in 120 years he was having an sudden urge to eat something, every cell of his body was demanding an abundant supply of energy while his stomach was crying for the Food.

Gulp~ .

August Gulped his own saliva that was overflowing inside his mouth, and the next second he started wolfing down the food. 

In just one minute he finished all the dished and Burped in satisfaction.

"Delicious!!" he said and put the tray on the left side.

"Now then tell me why are--, Henef?" August was about to ask henef about his sudden arrival but stopped in Middle cause of Henef surprised expression.

"Henef?" He called out again but there was no response from the other side, He stood there like a statue.

Henef was surprised he prepared 15 different dishes for August as he was unaware of his taste and it cost him all of his money.

Henef was expecting that August would be satisfied after eating 4 to 5 dishes as a child. It was already more than enough and as for the rest he will take them with him for a feast with his family.

But his expression changed the moment August started eating like a hungry wolf, he stood in his place petrified while staring at August who was gulping down the food of 3 people on his own.

His heart ached, at the sight before.

"Hey Henef , you there." August shouted loudly.

"Ah? Yes, Young master.." Henef answered, coming out of his daze state and lowered  his head.

"What's wrong with you, why were you staring at me, earlier." August asked with a frown.

Ah! It's nothing, hehe. Henef replied with a forced smile.

While he was crying inside.

'What wrong with me?, you are wrong here!Your whole family is wrong!!'

He was crying inside but August's unreasonable question made it worse.

"Ok, then tell how come you are here?" August asked but his tone was not cold at all.

"It's this young master , sir Ron, order me to give this to you." Henef Said, taking  out the bronze token and handing it to August.

Oh!August mumbled as he looked at the bronze token in his hand,  he was well aware of the bronze token which represents outer disciple's, inner disciple possesses silver token while core disciple's and elder have Gold token as an identity document.

"Just that?" August asked, he wanted to confirm if the Henef  had something else for him.

"Yeah, sir Ron only gave me this." Henef replied.

Averting his eyes, August looked at the bronze token in hand, now that I have become a student of the martial academy it won't be long to achieve my Goal.

August checked his fist and chuckled, suddenly he heard a system voice inside his head.

 August's expression changed as he observed his new unlock skill , he rubbed his eyes again to confirm he wasn't only seeing things.

Surprised and shocked.

"To be able to increase my stats by twofold , heaven what kind of Godly unique  skill is this." August said excitedly.

"And it's an upgradeable skill on top of that!" August breathing became heavy as he considered the true might of his new unlocked skill.

In a life-death battle even a little disturbance could turn the tides of the battle, not to mention a sudden increase of two folds.

"This skill can be a measure turning point in life threatening situation.", August hummed happily  as he finally got himself a trump card.

He may be an immortal with a huge body but he wasn't invincible at all even when he didn't have a human vessel for him.

But he was weak as a human , with nothing to save himself in times of death till now.

August was feeling more confident now, not only was he able to open all of his meridians and finally took a step towards  being  a cultivator , he also received an overpowered skill from the system.

He Averted his Gaze  after some time, and frowned.

"Why are you still here." He asked, staring at the person in front of him.

The other person was none other than Henef.

"Young master forgive me for my audacity, but this humble servant wants a favour from you." Henef  kneeled on the Ground immediately after. 

He was only a servant, a servant who had to fulfil every wish of his master without saying anything, but now the same servant was asking for a favour from his master , if it's not being audacious then what is it?

Henef was firm in his actions, he dare asked August a favour with his life on his line, he remained kneel on the ground as a petrified statue.

"Oh! What king of favour?" August asked , he was well awake of the rule of the city 23 , asking a favour from one's master as same as walking on a sword.

But that was what interested August.

"He still dares to ask for a favour,  knowing that he could lose his life , so it must be something very important." August thought to himself.

Of course he wont kill Henef , he was already pretty satisfied with the other's party work and on top of that Henef even prepared a hefty food for him.

This alone made Henef's request worthy enough.

Henef spoke while kneeling on the ground " I wanted the young master to take my son under his wing." 

It took his all to said those words, he was afraid that the other party will surely reject to his request and he might even kill him for being u reasonable, basically he was asking August to protect his son after they get into the martial academy.

What should be the young master's answer?

Would he kill for being unreasonable.

Henef's heart was thumping loudly the more he thought about it.

"Oh! Ok." August replied nonchalantly.

"No, young mastt--- huh?" Did he just agree?
