4 Adrian’s Loyalty 1

All of the kids rushed to the battleground after class to witness Adrian and Gordon square off.

Scott and his friends moved along with Adrian as they went in that route.

In order to avoid any needless problems with the school board, Gordon arrived at the battleground and was able to coordinate the match with a student from the Legendary class.

"You don't have to do this", Scott pondered as he snatched Adrian's right hand as he was about to enter. When Adrian heard it, he smiled in return and turned to meet Scott, "wish him success".

Adrian responded, "Yeah, it is," to Scott's rejoinder, "This fight is yours to win buddy."

Scott started to quake in fear for his own as Adrian entered the fray.

The odd aspect of the battleground was that it was a vast area encompassed by a magic orb that protected viewers of the match on a giant screen from magic and harm.

As they both took positions, the coordinator explained the game's rules, which state that "the game ends when a participant forfeits the match."

Scott was frozen with fear as he heard this since he had never seen Adrian and his other companions use their magic or engage in warfare.

"Let this war commence!" the coordinator then cried.

Adrian immediately responded to Gordon's charge with a lance of ice before Gordon returned the favor by charging a boulder of rocks in Adrian's direction.

They both managed to dodge each other's strikes, but Gordon didn't react quickly enough, and a piece of ice struck his knee, resulting in a little bit of bleeding.

Just a little.

After seeing this injury and the brief exhibition he had seen, Scott began to complement Adrian.

"He is strong, he has a chance. No, he will definitely beat Gordon".

After seeing Gordon's wound, Adrian moved quickly to strike, but Gordon slammed his hand to the ground as soon as he saw Adrian, throwing Adrian off balance as the ground rumbled.

Gordon then launched an attack from above, throwing pebbles at Adrian, but Adrian deftly sidestepped them and kicked Gordon in the jaw, knocking Gordon to the opposite end.

Scott had already begun to unwind at this point because he was confident Adrian would win the battle.

As he stood up, Gordon spat up blood and used his sleeve to wipe it off his lips. He smiled, saying, "Lucky you."

This time, Gordon attacked, and when Adrian couldn't keep up, Gordon smacked him with a glove that resembled a stone. Gordon delivered a punch so strong that Adrian was unable to immediately rise to his feet, and then, with his left foot on Adrian's back, he used an overhead kick to finish the attack.

Scott was speechless since Gordon had blocked Adrian's strike.

Gordon then produced a massive hammer using his earth magic and pointed it at Adrian's head.

Adrian would have been rendered comatose for a period of two to three weeks, if not longer, and Scott simply had to thank the heavens that he was spared from the onslaught.

In response, Adrian brandished an ice-tipped axe and attempted to sever Gordon's chest, but they both successfully sidestepped each other's blows. Adrian, however, was caught in Gordon's trap very quickly because Gordon's mud was holding his leg in place.

Gordon swung his hammer towards Adrian's head, but Adrian used his axe as a shield. Adrian's side had suffered critical damage, but he got to his feet once more and walked up to the counter, this time brandishing two swords that he was holding side by side with both of his hands.

Gordon ran in Adrian's direction as soon as he noticed that, switching to a sword and shield that he was holding in both hands using earth magic.

As they moved closer to one another, they clattered their swords and Gordon dodged Adrian's lunge attempt and responded with a "Flunge"technique.

Adrian was able to luckily duck as he tilted backwards but Gordon grabbed his leg and threw him away.

At this time, Adrian head was dripping blood as Scott could do nothing but watch as his friend was bathed in blood.

Adrian could not move a finger again or so we thought.

Gordon walked majestically towards Adrian and he said "your can never be or reach my level, you destitute", as he reached his side and he grabbed Adrain by the neck with his left hand and he started slapping and punching him with the right.

Scott was forced to cry as he witnessed this atrocity because his pal was in such horrible position.

The coordinator was yelled at by Scott and his pals to call time on the game, but the coordinator responded, "Remember the rule, it isn't finished until someone forfeits the match."

Scott became enraged upon hearing this and yelled at the coordinator, "Can't you see that Adrain could not move again?"

Adrain grinned deceitfully as he produced a dagger made of ice from his palm and swung it towards Gordon's neck. However, Gordon was able to stop it with his hand as the blade pierced through it and nearly touched his neck.

Gordon quickly jumped aside and pulled the dagger while his hands were covered in blood.

With an evil chuckle coming from his mouth, Adrian got to his feet.

Scott said, "F**k you, Adrian," upset by Adrian's actions. Adrian simply smiled and regarded Scott, knowing well well that his friend had his back.

Gordon was furious with Adrian for sucking him into a trap and causing him to act recklessly.

Gordon then used his special skill to defeat Adrian because he was playing a joke on him. Being able to use both fire and earth, he went on the attack and used lava to assault Adrian.

Adrian was being attacked by lava balls the size of footballs, and he had no choice but to defend himself by shielding the attacker.

Gordon opened a ground of lava heading towards Adrian while he was duping Adrian with the lava balls, but Adrian flew above.

Gordon was waiting for him up there, but sadly for him, he used a rock to knock him back to the ground.

Adrain utilized his ice to freeze the ground as he landed while plummeting directly into the lava.

Gordon, however, was standing behind him as he struck Adrian with a stone hammer while wearing gloves made of ice.

However, the impact Adrian took was so crucial that it caused his back to suffer as he was blown into a corner of the battlefield.

Gordon moved closer to Adrian this time, but he chained Adrian's hands and legs with his Earth power.

Adrain could no longer move, thus he had nothing else to deceive with.

With no one to stop him, Gordon began viciously hitting and kicking him.

"Stopppppp!" Scott yelled as he was suddenly smacked by something.

Something Important.
