Synopsis

Who doesn't make mistakes when young? It all happened a long time ago and even if you wanted to throw it all away, you always find yourself remembering the past.

Chapter 1Encounter

"Here's your order, Miss. Enjoy your meal, thank you!"

I took my order and directly went to the table nearest to me. My head hurts like crazy, it's so painful and it feels like a clamp squeezing my skull. It makes me feel so dizzy that i wanted to throw up.

"Why do i have to do this to myself?" I thought to myself while walking. I already told myself a hundred times not to drink again. One of my friends got engaged with his boyfriend and now to celebrate that she graduated from being single we booked a room in a hotel and spend the night drinking. It was awesome and amazing that we didn't pass out from drinking so much. We were so relaxed and happy. I admit we had so much fun last night that it left me with a severe headache now. I can't help but smile at our silliness. While i was occupied by the thoughts of what happened last night, i didn't notice that there's someone walking on my right side.

"Hey, be careful!" he said. He is also holding his meal and tried his best to avoid colliding with me. It is fortunate that he is quite tall so his meal didn't fall on me as he held up his arms to avoid wasting the food.

"Sorry, i didn't notice you." I feel embarrassed because i know it is my fault for not being aware of my surroundings. I am walking really slow because I don't want to move my head.

"It's alright." He smiled at me and he continued walking to the table.

I am surprised to see that we are both walking towards the same table but since I was walking slowly, he occupied the seat first. I look left and right hoping to find another table but there are no vacant seats. Sigh, i feel dejected. I am not even aware that there are a lot of people at this time.

"Excuse me, can I sit here?" Although I feel ashamed, I still asked hoping that he will let me sit across him.

He looked at me then scanned the place, realizing that all the tables are occupied. He said to me, "Sure."

"Thank you and sorry for what happened earlier." I put my meal on the table and I sat right afterwards.

We were both eating quietly when a kid running around his parents accidentally bumped on our table and spilled the glass of water on his clothes.

I didn't think much and handed him a tissue as a way to help him after helping the kid stand up.

"I have to attend an interview and now I am soaked. Anyway, thanks!" I heard him say while wiping his wet clothes.

I looked and smiled at him. That's when I realized, he is wearing a pale sky blue polo long sleeves rolled up neatly on his elbow, brown leather belt and navy blue pants. "I am lucky I did not spill my drinks on him earlier." I thought to myself because I ordered pineapple juice. I think it will stain his clothes, luckily only water spilled on him. I don't know if he's lucky or not but at least, "Ahh, never mind." I stopped thinking about it, it only makes my head hurts even more.

After a few seconds, I saw him getting up and went to the restroom.

I continue eating but felt full. I already lost my appetite and feeling nauseous. "What a waste." I thought as I looked at my food. I can't really finish my meal; I only took a few bites because I need to eat. I sipped my drinks slowly while thinking if I will go to school or go home.

"I'd better go home and sleep. I'll just attend the next class." I get my things ready and about to go home but when I stand up I bumped into him again.
