Chapter 5: Eldric vs Link.

On a balcony Raven and Adella were talking while enjoying their afternoon tea when suddenly a maid barged in.

"What are you doing!! didn't I tell you not to disturb me while I am talking to my daughter." Said Adella furiously at the maid who barged in without permission.

"I am sorry for my rudeness madam but it important."said the maid.

Tilting her head Adella ask "Oh and important matter that required for you to distrub my time tell me if it is not important as you sound you might get some punishment."

The maid kneeling on floor due to queen pressure shivering said " madam it not for the queen but for the princess."

Seeing her mother bullying her maid raven intervein "Mother stop it ... And What the matter Cecilia."

Gaining a little courage Cecilia said "That.. princess the boy that you brought is going to fight captain link."

Surprise raven exclaimed "Eldric ! really?? and who is captain link? is he a palace guard?"

"That.. miss, He is the captain of -hunter- the troop that you recently form to investigate and scott the dark forest ...." Said the maid a little puzzle.

'why is princess acting like she forget about them.... No princess is a genius she much have been confused.' though the maid.

"Ohhh i remember I did form such a group week ago!" She really had forgotten about it as she was really bussy this pass days.

'Ahh so embarrassing thinking of the hero i almost forgot about the troop I made.'

She got curious about the time her mother told her about demon beast rapageing so she formed them in impulse...

"Wait ?.... I selected some promising solder as I can't have those elite ones !! Then eldric is in danger! that idiot.."

"Mother im going eldric is going get beat up" she shouted and Jumping off the balcony directly.

And she ran towards the battle ground directions hurriedly without looking back.

"Kids these days." Murmured the queen."Did my daughter really fall for a commoner!! well I don't careless if she like him and he love her back.. I will support you raven go for it.."She giggled and told the maid to join her as her daughter had left.

If raven and eldric heard her thought Raven might denied it but Eldric would neither comfirm or denied it.

Reaching the battle ground Raven hurried over and came between eldric and link.

Pussing away the people gathering and standing between eldric and link she asked "What going on here?"

*Princess !" Link exclaimed not knowing why she is here.

"Sister raven " Eldric called raven with adding additional sugar on his tone.

Looking at Link he can see that distorted face of him after hearing him calling her sister. So eldic smudged at him.

'Do you like that bitch I am calling your princess sister do you feel jealous.' was written on his face.

'What.. is this boy doing!! Sigh whatever.' Raven seeing through Eldic's mischievous act she didn't point it out but.

"Why were you trying to fight. Eldric I told you to rest right?" she is angry at him for picking up a fight. More like she didn't want him to get hurt.

"Sis that ... I want to train so, I came here. That mister over there said he will train me so we r just having a friendly match." He bluntly lied.

"Are you sure? are you not covering for him." ask Raven. She was going to punish Link for picking a fight with her step-bro but if he keeps covering him then she will not have a reason to do it.

"No sis why should I protect someone i don't know I just want to know my limit by fighting him." Said Eldic loudly . 'And to beat him up for various reasons.' though in his mind.

She would give up for now but she is going to find some stupid reason to get revenge if Eldric got hurt "Sigh, ok but I will be watching so link try not to disrespect me ."

"Yes princess." Shout Link misunderstanding Raven intention. Thinking she acknowledged his strangeness and signalling him to go easy on her servant.

After Raven got a seat over a corner, both eldric and link were face to face ready for the stricks.

Link was holding a wooden spear while Eldic used a wodern sword.

'It's light' thought Eldric holding the sword.

"Now start." Shout a man who is playing referee.

*"Cling**

"Hah!!" While Eldic was thinking how to use the sword the spears which were thrusting towards him got deflected by his sword.

'No... It was my natural reaction' eldric sword was already blocking the spear without him realising.

**Bang**

Deflecting the spear head downward using his sword edge Eldic gives a round kick on Link face making him lose balance.

Taking advantage of it Eldic stamp on the spear body with his foot and gives a swif kick on link leg joint after the round kick.

Link was already on one knee. His hand along with the spear got stomped and a sword on his neck.

Everyone lost on thought knowing how to react to this development.

'Was it that easy!!' was on their minds.

"Princess i didn't loss if I use my skill i can..." Link was cut mid sentence when he tried to explain his loss.

"Captain Link it was a friendly match if you lost, you lost it is not a life and death duel you Don't need to exagrate." Said Raven giving his some serious looks.

"That ...." Looking up to Eldric Link grinding his teeth he said "You win I will honour my promise do as u wish."

"What promise? oh that one!! than, thank you in advance."said Eldric smiling.

"What promises? eldric explained to your sister too" asked raven wanting to know how the fight stated.

"Um mister said that if I win I can start training here as his apprentice." Again he lied.

"What ... That kid is bluntly lying ... I was right we can't trust him" though Link hearing Eldric lie to the princess.

"Sight go and rest and don't sneak out this time we have work latter." Raven said not wanting to watch this nonsense anymore.

"Umm ... " Eldric left for his room after bowing and thanking her.

Raven only watched his back for a movement and went back leaving the chaos soldiers.

'His status improve suddenly something is fissy?" Though Raven, looking at the screen in front of her.

Ability — flash step, snap insight

He improve some of his state suddenly and he got a skill ... And some weird but handy abilities.... "

Until this point everything was normal for his state to improve as it must have increased because he got his skill so everything can be said normal but what Raven is intrigued are this abilities-

(Flash step - short distance teleportation.

Snap insight - advance six sence )

"They are like skill more than ability... I need to keep my eye on him more. And his skill.

(Weapon mastery — if train with any weapon with interest then it is an ability of a character to operate different weapons in a significantly more skillful manner than an other people.)

Saying so she looks up at the sky from the corridor she was walking. The bright light and the soft looking clouds might one day turn crimson red.

This is her conclusion and beliefs for the coming future.

" Where are you right now and what are you doing can you really save me ." Murmured Raven thinking of the saviour the god talked to her.
