Treat me a meal.

Sasha knocked on the door of the head of the Department. When she entered, she saw an extremely familiar face.

Head of the department, Owen and the vixen, Mabel who stole her boyfriend.

This awkward situation caused Sasha to be stunned for a few seconds after she entered the office. However, she quickly came back to her senses and said, "This is the design report. Please see if there is anything that needs to be modified."

Mabel naturally recognized Sasha and smiled meaningfully. "I didn't expect it to be you. What a coincidence."

"Do you know each other?" Owen looked at their expressions and asked in surprise.

"Yes, we are old classmates." Her lips were painted with a bright shade of red.

"Mr Stone! I'm so sorry. I have to go. I have an appointment with Mr Kim at noon." After having excused herself, Mabel took her purse and left. Her hips swayed as she walked out of the room.

"Okay." Owen slowly stood up and stalked around the desk and came to a stop right in front of her staring at her bosom with lusty eyes.

Feeling uneasy, Sasha adjusted her dress and said, "Sir, Is there any that needs to be modified?." Fury surged within her and she had the urge to slap him for his lecherous gaze on her. From the first day she entered the company, she felt his lustful gaze constantly lingering on her.

"Sasha, You've only been here for three days but your report is many times better than others. I have high hopes for you." Owen said.

"Thank you for your kindness. I will try my best." With that Sasha hurriedly walked out of the room.

When Sasha returned to her seat, her emotions were going through a rollercoaster ride. She was both angry and scared. But her emotions faded away instantly when her desk had nothing other than a desktop on it. There was this joy that was bumbling in the pit of her stomach.

"Hey! aren't you coming for lunch? Come on let's go" Her colleague, Tina beckoned on her. They shared the same work desk, and Tina has been nice to her.

As they stepped into the elevator, someone stepped out into the hallway with some men trailing behind him, all dressed in suits. From his demeanour, one could tell he was a formidable leader.

"-R—Ryan...Um!" Tina was interrupted by a groan as she dug her elbow into Sasha's stomach.

"Ryan Shore...He is so handsome" Tina squealed close to Sasha's ear. "Isn't he so handsome?" Tina urged her.

Sasha felt herself unwinding when she saw the starstruck gleam in Tina's eyes. "Yes..." Sasha's voice was almost audible.

Surprisingly Tina's spirits seemed to die down instantly. She muttered, "Dreamboats like him are meant to be admired from afar. They're not dateable."

Stunned, Sasha teased, "But you seem pretty excited?".

Tina broke into a grin and uttered, "He was the heir to the PKs Family business, which meant his worth and stature were undoubtedly impressive. He was also the walking textbook example of tall, dark and handsome".

Seeing that there were a few minutes before the bus will arrive, Sasha took out her phone, tapped her finger sending a text to Jennifer.

At this time, a black Maserati pulled over on the roadside. Hearing the screech coming from Maserati's direction, Sasha turned her head to take a look.

Soon, a man in a black suit and white turtleneck alighted from the car. The man walking toward Sasha had a towering stature and a distant yet resolute temperament.

"Good evening, Director Shore" Sasha politely greeted.

Ryan remained cool and aloof and imperturbable. "How was your work?." He raised a brow.

"Good. Thank you very much". Her attitude took a hundred-and-eighty-degree turn as she slightly bowed.

"Miss Sasha, If you encounter any difficulty, please do not hesitate to look for me." He looked at her with a smile. There was an irresistible charm in his smile.

"Thank you" Sasha replied.

"If you are thankful, treat me to a meal!" Ryan asserted. A look of surprise flashed across his face when he saw her epic reaction, but he quickly reassumed his usual poker face.

For some reason, Sasha disliked Ryan treating her this way, but now that he had said so, she couldn't refuse him, or else it would be rude.

"Alright. Please contact me when you are free" Sasha flashed a polite smile, wanting to send him off.

"Get in! I will send you back" Ryan offered.

"My bus will arrive soon" Sasha rejected his offer politely, her gaze shining with determination.

After Sasha alighted the bus, she stood near her neighbourhood, falling into a trance. Adam was the one who had helped her when she was moving in. They had even promised to get engaged when the time was right, and then they would get married.
