Confrontation

"Thanks Deku, I really appreciate you sparing with me" I beam at him. "Oh I was happy to help L/N, learning more technique in martial arts will really help me to go farther without relying on One for All."

"You don't have to be so nice to the damn nerd all the time therapist" Bakugo growls. I let out a long sigh, "How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that? You know my name, don't you?"

"Tch course I know your dumbass name Dr. L/N. I still say that should have been your hero name instead of Solace."

"Bakugo don't make me use my quirk on you until you cry and pass out again."

"I didn't cry dammit, there was debris in my eyes from all the shit I exploded." I don't dignify him with a response. "Tch, come on teddy bear, the nerds are being buzzkills." Kirishima walks up taking his hand giving me an apologetic look. Uraraka walks up to Midoriya and plants a kiss on his cheek. I watch them leave the gym together gently playing with the butterfly pendant on my necklace. Tonight was our first date.

I stand looking in the mirror pleased. The first person I told was Toru, naturally. She gushed and went on and on about being so happy for me and that it was about time I stop pretending like I wasn't super into him. She asked me a million questions about Tamaki and helped me pick out my outfit, Tamaki was going to LOVE it. I wear a powder blue dress covered in butterfly's with yellow strappy sandals with suns on them. Ashido gave me a side braid littering it with little bunny hair pins. I opted for no real makeup, just a little lip gloss, eyeliner, and mascara. I couldn't wait for him to see me in his favorite color. As I head downstairs something felt off and I soon saw why.

"D-dad?" I let out shocked. What was he doing here? I haven't seen him in years, and I prefer it that way. "Can you all give me a minute alone with my daughter please?" My father ask in that false kind voice that makes me cringe.

"No, anything you want to say to me, you can say it in front of my friends."

"I'd heard that you're going out on some date tonight with some nobody sidekick, considering that ridiculous get up I suppose it's true."

"Who I do or don't date is of no concern to you, and he isn't a nobody."

"What kind of sicko wants to go out with a 16 year old girl anyway? Most sidekicks are what 25?"

"You don't even know how old I am?" I accuse. "That alone shows it's none of your concern what I do with my life" I could feel the fear in the room growing ever higher. My father's quirk at work. My friends all start to scatter.

"You look just like a child slut, I told you what you were but you wouldn't listen!" my father spat at me, "tell how long have you been fucking his loser want to be hero?"

"I refuse to answer your questions father." SMACK! I taste copper before feeling the pain. I turn with fist ready to defend only to see my father pinned against a wall with tentacles around his throat. "Apologize, right now!" Silence. Tamaki takes his right fist and punches my father in the gut. "If you ever touch her again I'll end you!" He screamed with a confidence I'd only ever seen in him when confronting villains.

I wish everyone would stop fussing over me as I sit at the counter with an ice pack against my lip. Iida went to inform Mr. Aizawa of the confrontation. When Aizawa came in everyone started to speak all at once. "Out!" He commanded. My classmates all quickly obeyed. Tamaki still sat holding my free hand unwilling to leave my side. "Explain." Mr. Aizawa instructed. "I apologize sir. My father is a mean abusive drunk. My mother threw me out when I was 13 after I finally fought back. I went to live with my grandparents and never looked back. I guess he found out I was going out tonight. I don't know how he got on campus. He hit me before I expected it. Tamaki was just trying to protect me, please don't be upset with him." Mr. Aizawa looked at me with concern and a glimmer of anger in his eyes. "Are you going to be ok L/N?" he asks "I'll be fine sir, this is nothing."

He turnes his attention to Tamaki anger replaced with gratitude. "Suneater, what brings you to campus?" "A-a date sir, with Y/N." A small smile crosses Aizawas face as he looks from Tamaki to me then back to Tamaki, his smile drops. "I'm afraid I'm not going to be allowed to let any students leave campus until a full investigation is complete." Aizawa stops and thinks. "Perhaps we can save date night, hate to disappoint L/N, she does so much to help me with Eri and deserves a little break. I'll go and speak with some of the other teachers about helping bring food in and you can all watch a movie or something. The couples can stay here in 3A dorm and the singles can go to 3B." You smile at your teacher letting his guard down to show his soft side, something he usually only did at home. "Thank you sir, I can help with off campus stuff if you'd like." Tamaki offered "It's fine Suneater, you stay here with your girlfriend." We both blush profusely.
