Altier; The Triology

It is said that when the Door of Truth is opened, immense power will be granted to those who were able to unlock it. However, it can only be opened by the keys "the world itself" has granted to seven heroes the gods themselves have chosen. An intelligent witch whose only purpose in life is to oppose the Demon Kings. An elusive mercenary who thirst for vengeance on demons and hell itself. A freedom fighter who struggles against humanity's slovenly nature. A prideful angel who wants to protect their home and place in Heaven. A powerful demihuman who yearns for justice and a world of equality. A kind elf who takes from the strong and gives to the poor. And finally, a young man who carries great ambitions. Exactly seven heroes, huh. And out of the millions of people that exist, I was chosen to be one of them. Not that I'm complaining. It's just that, fate really is a funny thing-... But I do wonder. What lies on the other side of this game that we play? What exactly is the dark truth of this world? I'll find out, no matter what happens. Even if it means exploiting those close to me. ~~~ The Thumbnail art is not my creation. All the credit however goes to the ones who first made this beautiful masterpiece. If you are the artist and you not like it, please contact me and I shall remove it at my earliest convenience. There is no NTR, per say. This story is one part of the "Trilogy" series because this book itself is one of the three main stories that makes up the true story of the Altier franchise, so please look forward to that. Now with that said. Get yourself comfortable with some snacks, music, toys( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), and start reading!

The Infinite Corridor (REUPLOADED)

February 21, 1976

Somewhere in the Omniverse

(???'s POV)

The Infinite Corridor is a very strange place.

This realm exists outside the space-time continuum and transcends beyond the basic fabric of reality. As a higher dimension, even the very law of casualty becomes distorted, if not, invalid, allowing it to do what it wishes.

There is no sun, there is no moon, of any other type of celestial body nearby for that matter.

Honestly, this place is really boring. There are no animals, or other lifeforms who live here. There is nothing to do here.

There is nothing worth talking about. It's just all so barren, and "empty".

Even the ground looked completely devoid of personality. It was as if the floor itself was one giant mirror, reflecting back to whatever stood above it.

It's just one big pocket of transparent nothingness.

I said it once, I'll say it again.

"How boring."

Well, actually, I suppose there is one thing here worth mentioning. There was this mysterious giant gate about as tall as your average city building.

Being separated into two dull and extremely heavy doors, it was built off metals and minerals completely foreign to the entire Omniverse.

The mossy rocks and rusty doors seemed to be weathered by the passage of long periods of time. The sturdy looking metallic hinges that held everything in place also appeared to be corroded.

"The Door of Truth".

Every detail that this gate had to offer spoke volumes of the word "ancient".

Right now though, this door was locked.

And it will never open until the day seven "keys" in particular are brought forth by seven chosen heroes.

I wonder when that day will come.

No, I think I already know when.

It's just a matter of being patient, I suppose.

What exactly lies behind the Door of Truth, you ask? Well, the answer is a little complicated to say in full, but there is one thing I can say for sure.

The person who lives on the other side is a being who is considered as the absolute incarnation of undeniable power and unquestioned authority.

The person who created the Omniverse with only his body and strength.

Many call me, "The Father of Creation", but to you, you can simply call me, The Godfather, Jezebel.

In the midst of this realm of nothingness lied a single well decorated gazebo meant for the recreational purpose of the one person who would travel to and fro between this world and the next.

Oh, speaking of which, here she comes now.

As a single magical circle sparked into existence, one lady emerged through the dimensional portal.

"I'm home." The woman said, greeting me.

"Welcome back."

Once she was properly inside the Corridor, the woman deactivated the portal, resealing the temporary rift between both of our realities.

Bearing a tall body, cosmic purple eyes, and long silver hair, this woman was old enough to be considered a Primordial God, despite looking extremely young.

This lady was not an angel, nor was she a demon, but rather a god. And although she did not have a majestic halo nor protruding horns, there were four large and blue butterfly-like wings perched upon her back. As of now though, they were currently conceale.

This person is a descendant of my own flesh and blood.

My lovely daughter, Yamato.

Right now, she seemed to be drenched with sweat.

Her lack of breath also told me that she probably just returned from some hot and exhausting trip outside.

"Are you okay, darling? You seem out of shape."

"Just a little, those boys put me through the wringer again." After speaking, she took another moment to catch her breath.

I chuckled a little under my breath.

"Training? Coming from you, that's a new one."

See, the reason why I say that is because I know all too well that Yamato isn't exactly the type who willingly participated in physical training sessions.

Being born with the power of a god, she never really cared about trying to gain muscle or work on her already heightened physique.

And even if she did, there is still not much reason for her to train in the first place.

Especially with other mortals who toil day after day to simply improve their endurance and durability.

If anything, training with them would be nothing more but wasted effort on her part, since she alone was already born being at the peak of her power.

Guess that's both the blessing, and curse, of being born as my child, huh. How unfortunate.

Still, irrational actions aside, what exactly was her motive for even training with them in the first place?

Surely, she must have know that it would've been pointless too, right?

I'm sure she does, and yet she still did. So why? Perhaps she saw something else that she could benefit from?

Hmm....

Oh, I think I know.

"I swear those two are monsters. I've never seen humans train as much as they did." Yamato said.

"Even after spending all those years with them, you're still this surprised?"

"Of course I am. You should see for yourself. The things they do are utter insanity."

"I believe you're being melodramatic. Besides, it's not like their Valkyries or anything. They should be normal people, right?" I asked.

"Normal? Sure, let's go with that." She replied sarcastically.

"What exactly were you doing today?"

"Well, Troy said that this week's lesson was about not being so reliant on magic. You know, stuff on how to properly conserve it and whatnot."

Ah, now this explains why Yamato was so exhausted today.

Since the day she was born, her body already naturally excelled in the manipulation of magic, allowing her to always compensate in battle with just those powers alone.

As such, she developed a bit of an unhealthy habit to overly on such powers, without ever learning how to live on without it.

So to see her suddenly be forced to train under such limitations, the idea of her struggling is all too likely.

Surely a mistake on me and her mother's part.

"In any case, how'd you do?"

"...We don't talk about it."

*Sigh*

Perhaps training with those other boys might not actually be a complete waste of time.
