Altier; The Triology

It is said that when the Door of Truth is opened, immense power will be granted to those who were able to unlock it. However, it can only be opened by the keys "the world itself" has granted to seven heroes the gods themselves have chosen. An intelligent witch whose only purpose in life is to oppose the Demon Kings. An elusive mercenary who thirst for vengeance on demons and hell itself. A freedom fighter who struggles against humanity's slovenly nature. A prideful angel who wants to protect their home and place in Heaven. A powerful demihuman who yearns for justice and a world of equality. A kind elf who takes from the strong and gives to the poor. And finally, a young man who carries great ambitions. Exactly seven heroes, huh. And out of the millions of people that exist, I was chosen to be one of them. Not that I'm complaining. It's just that, fate really is a funny thing-... But I do wonder. What lies on the other side of this game that we play? What exactly is the dark truth of this world? I'll find out, no matter what happens. Even if it means exploiting those close to me. ~~~ The Thumbnail art is not my creation. All the credit however goes to the ones who first made this beautiful masterpiece. If you are the artist and you not like it, please contact me and I shall remove it at my earliest convenience. There is no NTR, per say. This story is one part of the "Trilogy" series because this book itself is one of the three main stories that makes up the true story of the Altier franchise, so please look forward to that. Now with that said. Get yourself comfortable with some snacks, music, toys( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), and start reading!

It's Unfortunate, But Changes Needs To Be Made

Hi, my name is [Redacted], and I'm the author of this book. But before you do read, I should say that this chapter may contain mild spoilers.

If your new here, I highly recommend that you simply ignore this book and move towards another one of my books called Altier; Trilogy - "Inheritance".

I appreciate your support, and hope to see you there.

However, if your someone who has been around for a while, then you deserve an explanation.

Well, let me take you back just a little. If you have been here awhile, then you would probably know just how long it took just to get this book off the ground.

For months, half a year even, I have spent it all just trying to set up the groundwork and the proper foundations.

Problem was, back then, I didn't know the "proper way" of doing that exactly. To put simply, I did no planning or made an realistic preparations.

I mindlessly wrote long arcs that didn't seem to have no direction.

I wrote chapters that had eight thousand words at minimum, some even going as high as ten.

Even the main premise of the show kept flip-flopping back and forth between the concept of an "absolute fate", and "no future is predetermined" which was kinda weird, in my opinion.

All of that were one of the many factors that led to me to becoming dissatisfied with what I had wrote.

But I learned now. I learned the process of how to write a proper book.

That's why I chose to learn from my mistakes and try again and again to remodel what I have made. All in hopes of me putting my new knowledge to make a book I can finally be proud of.

And it is for that exactly why I come before you all now. So, to be blunt, I'm starting anew.

Now don't get your panties in a bunch. I'm still writing the same story. It'll still be the plot that you have been reading lately.

I'm just removing a certain arc, and rearranging the chapter placement.

I'm doing this because back in the day, I also didn't exactly have an idea of where I wanted to start the book. So it started at a random place and led to other events because I made the plot demand it.

(It's a big difference.)

Then it led to me wanting to start the book from a different person's perspective, hopefully introducing the villain before the main character, just to set everything up.

There was also this time I wrote a long flashback belonging to one of the main female leads, but that was something I could've outright just did better with.

Both situations eventually made me displeased with how I wanted the book to make that first impression, without ruining the chronological order of things.

Which is exactly why I'm chosing to cut out Dazai's previous interaction with Blair in the new version of the story.

I won't go into detail why since that's also spoilers for even you guys, but at the very least, I can say that Blair will be making her eventual return back to the story one way or the other.

As for the powerful items Dazai last gained, they will also make their return, as well, but it will take a while.

Especially, the scarf.

As for the old version of the book, I do not plan on deleting it anytime soon to be honest.

I will probably keep it up for awhile, (and that's if I eventually decide to delete it), since it takes time for the news to reach out to everyone. And hey, it's also a form of advertisment in a way so there's that.

Anywho, that's pretty much all I wanted to say in regards to this. If there is more details I want to add explaining the situation, I'll just come back and edit this chapter, but for now, I covered the main premise.

In any case, I'm glad that, despite all the major hiccups that's been holding us back, we were atleast able to reach that lucky number, "69k" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Altier Trilogy - "Inheritance". It'll be the one that got submitted into the contest. While I don't intend to win, I do hope that'll atleast get our popularity back to where it was before.

So I do hope to see you guys on the other side.

Sincerely, [Redacted]
