Chapter 2: Starter Gift Pack and Timeskip
Night time, Nakiri Household
It was an exhausting day. I am really tired mentally and physically. After we went back to my room, Alice and Erina has been questioning me nonstop how I knew all that. Fortunately, I managed to redirect their attention to a topic about uncle Sōe's always serious face.
I just played with them, ate lunch, read some books for past time (I looked at some historical differences), and ate dinner before going to my room.
This world is like my past life's world except some differences. One of that is that Shokugeki is a thing and there is a school called Shuchi'in Academy. Ring any bell? I just don't know if there are still any anime IRL that I haven't noticed yet.
The media industry of this world is really boring. The whole Marvel Comics was goners. Big manga and anime series like Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto and Bleach didn't exist. The music industries' was pretty much the same except for the absence of some. While the game industry is the same.
It seems looks like I was born in April, just a month after Erina was born. My father is a restaurant owner and a chef. While my mother is the CEO and Founder of something called Philippine Ecologic Technologies and Food Industries (PETFI). My mother is an only child and apparently grandma, her mother, already died seven years ago.
I also saw that grandpa(maternal) Daniel was the President of Philippines. He made it a much better place as he literally unified the whole country as an ecologic friendly country. All machines in the country was ran by electricity and don't use gas, oil, or petrol anymore.
Enough about my grandpa. I almost forgot that there is still the system. I haven't checked it the whole day. I opened the system interface and looked at it's entirety.

I looked at all the things I got from the Starter Gift Pack. I recognize almost all of them except the title. These are all overpowered. Just Raphael alone would be enough, let alone the <Moon Dragon Slayer> magic and the <Infinite Uses: Cross Tail> Imperial Arms. While I am thinking, a female voice resounded in my mind.

That's right! Raphael was integrated to the System so she can be treated as the system assistant.
'Raphael, can you tell me what effect does the title have and the use of the Manas Core?'

I can say that I kind of expected what the title did, but I didn't expect it to be this exaggerated. It is very useful. But it will be very boring though if I learn everything so easily.

Now then, I need to plan what I'll be doing from now on. We will be leaving for Philippines in three days and I will not see Erina until three years later. Alice was also planning to go to Denmark with her dad in a year.
"I only baked her a cupcake and she said it was terrible and unpalatable. How mean!"
I made the two of them cupcakes two days ago as a snack, but Erina didn't even eat a half of it. At least Alice said it was good. I'll show you Erina, when I come back I will make you say my food is the most delicious.
'Wait, I totally sound like Soma there.'
I remember that in the anime, uncle Azami trained Erina brutally in her childhood. But I don't know exactly when. I will just help her when I come back so she don't become the Erina from the start of the show.

It has been two years since we came to Philippines. When I got here, I was really surprised. Who wouldn't when you see tons of news reporters and paparazzi just outside the airport. I asked my mom at that time why were there so many reporters, didn't we come here by a private plane? And the reason for the reporters soon was explained as I saw my grandfather waving at us while surrounded with body guards trying to stop them from slipping in.
Who wouldn't be intrigued seeing the president wait in an airport. You really can't blame them as it is their job. And you guessed right as a day later my face was plastered in newspapers and national tv. Apparently, the public didn't know that their beloved president had a granddaughter. I lived in Japan for four years since I was born so it was understandable.
Anyway, I had been learning Filipino cuisines from my mother when we came here. She taught me basically everything she knows about cooking and I learned fast like fish in water. Unfortunately, she was always busy with work so she only taught me every weekends.
Right now I am in a restaurant owned by PETFI, mom's company. She was at a meeting at the moment at the Bicol Branch Headquarters just three streets away.
I came here to try something, because we just arrived here recently. I walked to a table and took a seat. The waiter noticed me and showed a shocked expression before quickly walking to my table.
"Miss Nakiri, may I know what you want?"
He said with a suppressed and nervous voice. I smiled faintly at his question before saying.
"Give me your best dishes."
