Magic world?

(System initializing….)

Gene felt a warm feeling in his chest and a blue semi-transparent thing pops up in front, startling him.

"what the hell!?" Gene silently cursed because the words inside the blue box are random and unreadable, and the only readable word in it is the "Loading" word.

"Don't tell me my system is broken?" frowning, Gene waited for several minutes but only jumbled words continued flickering inside the 'dialog box'.

While still waiting, Gene glance around him and found that he's the only one who can see the dialog box that silently floating in front of him, he felt relieved.

Gene touched his chest where the warm feeling comes from and realized that the warm feeling in his chest area is also the place where he has been impaled to death last time.

Feeling wronged, Gene could only smile bitterly, the system killed him 'accidentally' right?

Gene thought his friends, family, and the co-workers to his intern job back to his previous world and could only helplessly suppress his negative emotions. Because right now the most important thing is to know where is the home of the former owner of this body so he can go there to rest and access the situation he's right in. he also hoped the system could start up faster and maybe it can answer the questions he had in mind.

So Gene didn't move and stared unblinkingly to the floating dialog box while silently muttering "start up" repeatedly. Some passing students glance at him every now and then and thought he's just a guy that had been dumped by his girlfriend based on the faded reddish palm print on his face and his dazed expression. While others thought he's a perv who grabbed someone else's butt and slapped silly by it.

Well, Gene's focus is at the system's dialog box and doesn't really care what other students think. all he wanted to do right now is to wait for the system to start up and ask questions to curb his confused and agitated mind.

Submerge in his own deep thoughts, Gene didn't expect that another presence slowly tiptoeing behind his back and ready to pounce at him.

*hug*

"wha—"

"chuup.."

Full of his own thoughts, Gene would never thought that a person suddenly hugged him from his back and giving him a sweet peck on his cheek. Gene, as a mid-twenties single guy at his previous world couldn't react on time and turned stiff.

"what are you doing here darling~ are you cutting classes?"

Hearing the sweet whisper of the girl hugging him, Gene instantly realized that this young lady might be his girlfriend.

Or the 'old' Gene's Girlfriend.

Gene looked sideways to see the young lady's face and to his surprise, he found her looked too familiar.

"wait.. her face and eyes.. she had a striking resemblance of that young teacher who slapped me. Are they relative? Damn.." Gene just stared at her for 6 to 7 seconds before she spoke again.

"do you find me pretty, my darling~~" still, full of sweet tone. The young lady's beautiful purple eyes that looked like contain countless stars stared right at Gene that made his heart skipped a beat

dumbfounded, yet feeling lightheaded by being stared directly by her Gene started to answer unconsciously.

"d-do I know you?"

The young lady's smile froze, and a sudden chill assault Gene's nerves before letting out a shudder.

Her purple eyes that filled with countless-like stars started to fade and a strange reddish hue started to emerge from it, giving Gene another shock. Again.

"what.. did you just.. say?" she slowly asked as she stared  at Gene with a "one more word that I don't like and you're dead." look.

 Gene silently cursed himself for being distracted right now. but what can he say? A fine young lady with outstanding looks that his previous world's crush can't even compare. just her countenance makes Gene recall a certain famous actress who starred as a wizard from that movie. She resembles that actress smile and smooth expression, making Gene stunned for a moment.

"hahaha I'm just kidding. so.. how is your.. your day, m-my d-darling.." Gene hurriedly said  as he smiled amiably.

The young lady's hand slowly formed a fist, and a purplish red hue started to emerge from her skin, covering her hand.

"is that magic!?" Seeing that mystical hue covering her hand Gene silently exclaimed.

"..are you sure that's a joke my darling? I thought you really mean what you just said based on the looks on your face~~." Grinning. She unclenched her fist as she slid her smooth left arm to wrap  his right arm, Gene tried to let himself off her grasp to back away from her but somehow, he can't.

"she's too strong I can't move away her arms damn it."

"your too beautiful when you smile like that, making me hesitate if you really are my girlfriend."Gene explained. While making a helpless expression.

"hehe~ really???" the 'fire' covering her fist slowly dissipates and her eyes returned back to normal and her smile became more natural and sunny, Gene sighed internally as he smiled at her slightly.

"why are you here my darling? Your class is not done yet right?" Gene's girlfriend curiously ask

"well.. I got distracted and.. uhh.. our homeroom teacher kick me out of the classroom.. hehe." Gene scratch his head  and look at her.

".. did big sister made it difficult for you again?" his girlfriend frowned her pretty brows and spoke again. "did she do this to you?" she touched  the cheek that has been slapped and caressed it.

"it's alright it is my fault in the first place, I got distracted while she is teaching." Gene replied and force a smile.

Gene really wanted to excuse himself and go to a quiet place to wait for the system to start up. but he's also curious about his girlfriend using that magic that covers her hand like it is burning.

"did I transmigrated into a magic themed world!?" Gene exclaimed inwardly. Full of excitement and worry, Gene  instantly imagined himself able to wield that magic or having a power to fly  at the sky with just a thought.

For Gene, who loves to read novels of fantasy and eastern kinds of genre, It is a dream come true for him to transmigrate into this magic filled world. But he started to worry. What if this world is also a world where the strongest fist reigns?

"well I hope its not that severe like the novels I read where the wealthy and powerful individuals are like psychopaths that kills innocent people indiscriminately like it's nothing serious." Gene worriedly thought.

"Ding! Binding successfulabjka$#&&:@=@b%#=##%£¥…. Farming system."

Joy and excitement flashed in Gene's eyes when he heard the sound of the system finished its loading process, but his joy also died down instantly when  he suddenly noticed the final part of the message.
