Chapter 8
Everyone is tensed, no one dared to move nor speak ,with the two powerful people facing each other that would be suicide, but not until Kathleen kneeled clutching her stomach, pain is eating her system.
A delectable scent spread to the werewolves nostrils.
"BOSS!" her lads scream in unison and rush towards her direction.
Growls after growls.
Then the realization hits Adrian.
He run towards the nearest window and looked if his assumption is right.
The full moon rose bright at the sky.
"Heat!!!" said Adrian and scope Kathleen without hesitation and growled.
How did i even forgot about this.
Heat is a thing in werewolves, this happens when he/she found their mate. The pain due to the heat will continuously felt by the female every full moon but eventually stopped after they complete the mating process.
During this process of heat the scent of the females that found their mate but hasn't fulfill the mating process could attract unmated male wolves that'll be willing to mate with them.
In Kathleen's case the pain is tripled than the usual because she isn't a werewolf.
Inside the place only few are not affect with Kathleen's scent.
Timothy tsked and take a grip with the other alphas who is tryin to get their selves together.
"Take your leave bud, we'll handle this!" He was surprised when he saw Flynn wasn't affected by his mates scent but it ain't the right time for him to question his friend.
He nod as a response and turn to run towards his house.
Distance isn't really a problem for werewolves, yes they are not as fast as the vampires but still they've been know for being a runner in supernatural realm.
But for Adrian it is his longest run which in fact it only takes 15 mins, due to Kathleen's screams because of the pain for him it felt like centuries.
" Hold on to me sweetheart, you're strong you got this!" he whispered softly as they about to reach his house but surprised to what he saw at his back a bunch of rogues are following them.
Their eyes flamed at the dark forest.
Adrian run as fast as he could, it is actually a disadvantage that he didn't shift back to his werewolf form but he has to carry his mate.
At last he made it and command each and every werewolf to guard the perimeter. While he placed his mate at his king size bed and run towards the bathroom to prepare the bathtub applying the lesson that has been thought to the. He put a warm water, after that he run back to Kathleen and carried her towards the bathroom.
"Can you stand?" he ask worriedly.
Kathleen just nod, he then put Kathleen on her feet.
"Y-You need to t-take that off" he said preferring to her gown. Without hesitation Kathleen reach out the zipper at her back leaving her in her black lingerie.
This is torture
Adrian gulp hard as he carry Kathleen again, to put her in the bathtub. He saw how Kathleen relaxed at the warm water but immediately scream in pain.
Adrian sigh and remove his pants leaving him in his boxer.
"W-what the h-hell a-are you doing!?" Kathleen ask pain evident to her voice.
"Im joining you" he said flatly.
"Why?" he didn't answer instead he just position at the back of Kathleen letting the water wet him also.
He then grab Kathleen's waist who is grunting in pain and pull her closer to him hugging her from the back.
Kathleen's breathing became long and deep.
"T-this p-pain is a f-fucking shit" that makes Adrian chuckle.
" Im sorry, if you had to feel this pain hon" Kathleen grip the side of the bathtub as she felt another wave of pain hit her.
" Y-yeah you must r-really say sorry" she felt like her strength has been flashed away from her after fighting the wave of pain. She rested her back to Adrian's chest and take a long and deep breath as the second wave of pain rushed into her.
"Distract me"that's all she said.
Groans after groans as the pain became severe while Adrian hug her even tighter, and doing something to lessen the pain. He gently remove her hair away to the right side of her face and shoulder and give her a gentle kiss from her shoulder blade up to the back of her ear.
"Honey, dont you know that you looked so hot with your dress earlier?" he said as he nibble her earlobe.
"R-Really h-huh?" Kathleen manage to reply even if the pain is at its peak.
"Yeah im really really sure about that" he said and chuckle softly while kissing her cheek down to her jaw then to her neck and leave a mark.
"Hmmm"Kathleen moaned.
Damnit my patience are wearing thin!!
"Uhh honey y-"
"Don't talk, i can obviously feel it" she said and let out a sarcastic chuckle that makes Adrian groan.
"I think im gonna slip."he admitted then sigh and bury his face to his mates neck.
Kathleen didn't answer but instead turn around grinning, she wrap her legs at his waist and whisper.
"Shut it Mister" and crushed her lips to his as the last wave of pain came.

The sun rises earlier that day, as its rays strikes directly to Kathleen's face that makes her groan and try to grab another pillow to cover her face but immediately stop when she heard a husky yet sexy voice that whispered right at her nape.
"Don't move hon." she can feel her hair at her nape raise up as his minty breathe hits at her exposed neck.
Kathleen's mind became chaotic because of the feeling that she'd never ever felt before, and is intensified by how he tighten his hug at her waist that she didn't realize earlier.
"Breathe hon." Adrian said and chuckle with that Kathleen was as if awaken from her own world as she felt her cheeks burn.
Kathleen immediately grab Adrian's muscular arm and throw it harshly away from her.
How dare he mock with me
But instead of being pissed it only makes Adrian chuckle even more.
"How cute, my honey just blush!" He said and grin wider that makes Kathleen pissed.
She stands up and was about to go out when Adrian grab her arm and now she at the top of the hunk that is apparently not wearing any shirt under the sheets.
" Nah ahh hon I really wanna cuddle some more with you. " he said and steal a kiss from her. That didn't shock her cause she can clearly remember what happen last night.
" Cuddle yourself Mister! " she said and punch his side for him to loosen up his hug with her. Adrian chuckle with that.
Why is he even happy anyway!?
" Nah I better cuddle with you than myself cause that would be weird!" he said and laugh not minding the punch that Kathleen give.
"Let go of me Mister!!" she shouted.
"Nope" he said popping the 'p'.
" Oh fuck just let go will you, i just want to pee" with burning cheeks she turn her face at the side which made Adrian admire her the most.
Instead of letting Kathleen go Adrian take a hold of her as he stand bringing Kathleen in a bridal style.
What the actual shit is he doing!? that's what Kathleen mentally scream while holding back her smile, the gesture actually brings butterfly to her stomach and sparks because of the way his skin touches hers.
Adrian brought his mate at the bathroom not that he wanted to take a peep at her but because he knows how tired her body can be due to the heat that she undergoes last night.
He can't forgot the pain he felt because of his mate last night. It goes triple times to him, he actually hate what happened last night but immediately smile when he remembered the kiss that they've share.
"Hey, what are you smiling at!"
He glance at the lady that is in his arms.
"Nothing honey." he said and chuckle as he put her down to her feet. As long as her feet touches the tile he kiss her forehead and turn around and walk out to the bathroom, while grinning from ear to ear.
