Chapter 16: Alpha Female

It's 6am, and Liam has long since lost track of what day of the week it is. As soon as he's done with his finals, he no longer cares about anything, really. Wait, he did his last finals yesterday—two days ago, so today is definitely Wednesday.

Why is he thinking about this again? Oh, right. Wednesday is the middle day of the week, the longest day of the week, and it's only six in the morning. Usually, he'd wake up from his refreshing seven hours of sleep, but today, he didn't get that sleep.

Mar is counting under his breath from across the bedroom. They're both in Liam's apartment after a long night of hunting for condoms and crashing some parties they weren't invited to, but people let them in anyways. After getting free food and listening to some bad music, they came back to their apartments at 3am with condoms in their plastic bags. The black haired alpha brought his suitcase and clothes over so they can pack together.

Then, his phone rang for a second, distracting Liam from shoving a twelve pack of condoms into his suitcase with his best friend, who's also doing the same thing but in his own suitcase. Mar was closer to his phone, so the black haired alpha reached for it.

"A missed call from..." Purple eyes squinted at the screen. "Bitch Ass Pussy."

"Shit, call her back!" Liam shouted, and Mar pressed the call button a second too late.

A second too late, and there's heavy knocking on the front door. The black haired alpha hung up the phone and gently put it back on the nightstand next to the alarm clock.

"Open up, fuck boy!" The familiar female voice sent shivers down Liam's spine.

His older sister is a beautiful woman, a wonderful person, a brilliant scientist in her field, a goddess of the hunt. However, she's still his fucking sister, and she gives zero fucks about how people think of her. Hell, if anyone dares to call her out for making noise at unholy hours in the morning, she'll make sure to make it their problems and not hers.

The platinum blond alpha dragged himself out of the bedroom, across the living room into the kitchen, and opened the door. He came face to face with a female version of himself.

Sky blue eyes, the same eyes as Liam's, looked back at him with glee. She's only a few inches shorter than her brother, and with heels, she can comfortably make eye contact with him. Both of their parents are STEM professors, and both of them are tall alphas. His father stands at a great height of 6'3", and his beautiful mother stands at 6'2" with heels. On a good day, Mrs. Velison is taller than most people who she works with. Both Mr. and Mrs. Velison are alphas, which guaranteed that all of their children will be alphas.

The alpha female standing at his door is almost like a clone of his mother, from her platinum blond hair to her heart shaped face to her sky blue eyes to her cocky smile. His sister is in her early twenties, but she somehow started replicating their mother's sense of fashion, too. Liam isn't a big fan of light sweaters and pencil skirts in spring, but whatever makes his sister happy. She also has her platinum blond hair in a neat ponytail which sways behind her as she walks.

"Good morning, little fucker. I see you haven't been sleeping." Megara chuckled as Liam moved aside to let her into the apartment. "Ooh, your place kinda stinks too. Mar, you there?"

"Yeah!" The black haired alpha waved to her from his seat in the bedroom.

"Lord... What did you guys do in here? Your scents are everywhere! You two should get out more." The female alpha sniffed the air as she walked into the living room. Her brother doesn't know if she genuinely doesn't get what's going on after she sniffed their pheromones, or she's just pretending to not know. Either way, it works. "Anyways, you two ready?"

"You're here to pick us up?" Liam walked into his bedroom. Then, he dropped himself face first on the bed.

Mar looked at him with a bit of amusement in his eyes before he decided to join by planting his face straight into Liam's back.

"Awe, you want me to carry you too?" The female alpha sat down at the edge of Liam's bed. "How sweet... But I only got two arms, so get up, kiddos. We're going to the airport."

"Bitch, at least text us first." Liam rolled his eyes, and he's pretty sure his sister knows he did that. She doesn't have to physically see him do it, she just knows.

"Still..." Meg giggled as she ran her hands through Mar's hair. "Mar darling. Your second oldest brother is piloting today, and he said he'll pay for breakfast."

The platinum blond alpha lifted his face up from his pillow and groaned. "How do ya even know that? Did he tell you or something?"

"He did." The alpha female nodded. Meanwhile, Mar rolled over so he's half draped over Liam's back. "Rex texted me to get you two. Mom and dad will leave their house soon, so get ready, you lazy brats."

"Meg..." The black haired alpha whined with a grin on his face. "When are you gonna marry Star? She's waiting, ya know?"

For context, Star is Mar's older half sister, older than him by a little over a year. She's a lovely omega female, taking after her mother who's one of Mar's father's secretaries. Star didn't show up much to their vacations, but she met Liam's older sister while she's pursuing a degree in artificial intelligence and robotics. They met, they dated for a month, and they decided to just marry each other one day. Women in STEM are amazing.

"I'll propose when she graduates with her master's, darling. Be patient." Meg's hand came onto Liam's back; the slap created a satisfying sound echoing through the apartment. "Get up, go sleep in the plane."

"Fine, fine..." The platinum blond alpha sighed as he sat up and stretched. "I'm gonna take a quick shower."

"Same." Mar closed his suitcase, but he's still rolling on Liam's bed.

As soon as the bathroom door closed, the taller alpha heard his sister's footsteps and some voices.

"You got him in your hold, don't you?" Meg's sweet voice didn't hold any venom. "Darling, I see the way you look at him. Star looked at me the same way."

"Hey..." The black haired alpha protested, but there's laughter in his voice. "We're as normal as you can get. Nothing happened."

"Alright, darling. Now get up and go shower." The alpha female's heels moved to the kitchen, and Liam let out a sigh of relief.

His sister is amazing, yes, but sometimes she can be a bit much.
