CHAPTER 73 The Nightfall Gathering
Liam's POV
I picked Celeste up from her home, just like the old days of our working relationship. Except this time this was all about her. Celeste hadn't dressed up as she would when escorting me, yet she still looked as breathtaking as ever.
As Celeste slipped into the passenger seat of my car, my eyes wandered her body. She wore a short red skirt and a tight black shirt which accentuated her figure beautifully. The scent of her perfume filled my senses, the brand she always wore on our nights out. The familiar smell of this perfume brought back so many enjoyable memories of the time I spent with her.
"Are you ready?" I asked Celeste, stroking her arm gently. I could tell by the expression on her face she was apprehensive, but I wanted to support her "You're going to smash it, they'll love you,"
"I really hope!" Celeste replied with a positive tone. She placed her hand on mine and squeezed me lightly "Thank you for being so supportive.
