She had been expecting Aurora to be mad at her or yell after seeing her, but she didn't and she was grateful for that even though she didn't deserve it.
When they were both done crying, they let go of themselves and just stared into each other's faces, so many emotions weighing in their minds. Aurora had a lot of questions to ask and Scarlet had a lot to tell Aurora.
"I missed you," Aurora confessed and hugged Scarlet once more, feeling her warmth again.
"You had better not let your possessive mate hear that," Scarlet joked and Aurora stiffened.
"What's wrong," anxious, Scarlet released her from her embrace and looked into her eyes, wondering what could have gone wrong.
