"How do you get around with such a protective mate?" Bronco asked as he leaned against a sturdy tree trunk while looking toward her.
Safira chuckled, knowing full well the Alpha could sense it too. Damien was far from them, but he was still keeping a close eye and ear on her.
"I have my ways around him. Besides, he's just worried for my safety."
"Don't you find it suffocating?"
Safira shook her head, "He's doing it out of love. Besides, if I told him to back off, he would. But I don't mind."
Both Safira and Bronco looked up at the night sky, it was filled with stars. At some point, after being silent for a while, both of them looked to each other. It was clear that Bronco found the silence uncomfortable while Safira did not seem to mind.
Sometimes silence was all one needed.
"Luna Safira-"
"No need to be so formal. Safira's fine," she never liked it when people addressed her by her official title.
