Fear
Finally, it was time for the battle they had been waiting for. Damien and Safira, accompanied by members of their pack, arrived at the site of the Supreme Alpha Ascension ceremony a few days prior.
Tension was high and everyone could feel it. Even amongst the common wolves who were not competing, spirits were high.
On the morning of the ceremony, all the wolves gathered at the battle arena that had been set up.
"Nothing at all?" Safira asked Beta Seth with furrowed brows.
Her arms were crossed too. Usually, there would have been at least a few clues on what the battle arrangements were going to be like. But this round, there was no information leaked or provided.
"I checked with everyone. Nothing," Seth explained.
For the last three nights, he had gone around the campsites, in hopes of gathering any useful information he could get his hands on.
But all the leads were dry.
