seven

"wanna bet?" he said, his eyes growing darker and full of lust as he looked down at my semi-covered body.

i gulped and gripped onto my towel for dear life, just praying that it won't fall. if it did, there's no way he'd be able to control himself. i took a few steps back before i reached the wall and shook my head, "n-no.." i whispered while looking down at the carpet.

it was silent for a few seconds. only my heart racing quickly and my loud breathing. he walked towards me slowly and stopped once we were inches apart.

"it's taking everything out of me to not rip this towel off your body, mate. knowing that the only thing between my eyes and your body is that towel. it's torture." he muttered sternly.

little does he know, i feel the exact same way about his clothes.

i cleared my throat but stayed looking at the carpet, not daring to stare at his eyes. "maybe i should g-go.." i mumbled.

he moved his hands onto my waist and pulled me against him. i gasped at the sparks that flew throughout my body.

he growled and spoke, "look at me."

i bit down my lip hard and tilted my head up to meet his hungry gaze. his eyes quickly took in every feature of my face and stopped at my lips. he didn't take a second longer before placing his lips on mine. i've never felt so sure about something in my life! every part of me was screaming 'yes!'

i couldn't think about anything else. just me and asher. just me and my mate.

i kept one hand on my chest, securing my towel and wrapped my other hand around his neck and pulled him in closer. he groaned into the kiss and smacked my bum, making me gasp. he hastily put his tongue in my mouth. moans immediately left mouth as he squeezed my bum harshly.

our heated kissing session went on for at least one more minute until i pulled away to take a breather.

"i've gotta go.." i said quickly and picked up his shirt that fell on the floor during our.. moment and ran out of his room.

after freaking out about a kiss in the bathroom for five minutes i slipped on his large shirt and hesitantly left the bathroom as tiptoed down to where the living room was.

"woah." i said, looking at the beautiful decor. "nice, right?" someone spoke behind me. i whirled my head around to see the boy that i saw at the gas station, asher's brother.

"yeah... where's asher?" i said and sat down on the comfortable couch. the boy sat down next to me and put his feet on my legs, making me scoff.

he chuckled and yawned, "he went out for a run. he looked angry, what'd you do?"

i sighed and ran my fingers though my hair. "make out session. but we never took it further than that.."

"oh." was all he replied with. "wanna watch some tv?"

i laughed at the pit of topic question but nodded my head. we barley even paid attention to whatever was on the tv but instead talked and laughed. we chatted about tons of different topics until we finally grew tired and fell asleep.

"madison wake up.." a husky voice called. i groaned and growled out, "what is it chris?"

"someone is at the door and i don't want to get up, can you do it?"

"no."

"please?"

"no. you go."

"you're the luna." he replied and snatched the cover off me. i groaned and slid off the couch before walking to the door. i opened it slightly to see it was carter.

i scratched the back of my head. "carter? what are you doing here?"

"are you hurt? are you ok? did he do anything to you?" alpha carter basically buried me in questions. i shook my head and began to talk, "i'm fine carter. what are you doing here?"

"i'm here to take you back to my pack. hurry, we're not safe on asher's land." he quickly said.

my heart sank just from the thought of leaving asher again. "n-no."

he grabbed my hands and looked at me dead in my eye, "madison. i don't care if this will start a pack war or not. you are not safe here with him and i can't sleep knowing your captured here with that monster!"

i looked down at my feet. i totally had forgotten about the bad reputation that asher had. that kiss really changed my point of view.

"carter i can't. he's-hes my mate i can't just abandon him."

carter sighed and looked down at the ground before looking back at me. "maybe this will change your mind."

"wh-" i began before my grabbed me by my hips and pulled me towards him and smashed his lips onto mine. i gasped in shock and immediately tried to push him away. "carter- no!- stop!" i tried to say throughout the kiss.

before i knew it he was flung onto the ground by another person. i put a hand over my lips looked down at carter who was staring up at the tall man.

asher.

"what the HELL are you doing with MY MATE?!" he roared, sure to wake up everyone around us. carter jumped up onto his feet quickly and his eyes darkened with anger.

asher, on the other hand, was already pissed. probably ready to shift and kill carter without a second thought. before i could reach either of them asher already had carter pinned down on the ground, throwing rough punches towards his face.

i ran over to them quickly. "asher stop!" i yelled and tried to pull his arms away, but he was way too strong for me to do anything. carter's face was beginning to get bloody and i began to fear for his life.

"asher!" i yelled again as tears fell down my cheeks.

"asher stop or i'm leaving you!" i screamed at the top of my lungs causing him to tense up and stop his punches.

asher got up off carter and growled loudly. "if you so much as look at MY MATE in any certain way i won't hesitate to KILL YOU! understand?!"

carter nodded and spit out some blood while trying to get up. asher's eyes found their way to mine and he glared down at me. he grabbed my arm roughly and dragged me into the house.

no matter how many times i tried to protest he didn't let me go. as soon as we made it to his room he let go of my arm and slammed me against the wall.

i took a deep breath and stared into his black eyes.

"asher..-"

"you're mine, madison! not anyone else's! i don't want to share you with anyone!" he growled into my ear.

"i-i know." i whispered back.

"i want you to say it. now."

"i'm yours.. not anyone else's, i am yours asher!"

he stuffed his face into my neck and took a deep breath. before i could process what was going to happen i felt his canines grow longer and then sink into my neck.

i screamed out and i tried to push him away but it was too late.

he marked me.
