Chapter 12

Elara; 

"How did you do it, Chloe? How did you end up becoming Alpha Arthur's Luna?" I ask, running my red lipstick through my lips in front of the restroom mirror.

"Does that matter right now, Elara? I just asked you to stay away from Alpha Arthur's life and you have yet to give me a response."

I pause, whiffing in amusement. I lock my lipstick back into its pack, spinning around in her direction. "I can't stay out of Alpha Arthur's life, Chloe. What reasonable woman would want to avoid a handsome, powerful, billionaire Alpha who wants her?" Pushing the neck of my torn dress to the side, "I have his mark on me, and I believe you know what it means." Her face suddenly turns pale in sadness and a hint of a smile plays on my lips.

I'm enjoying every bit of the reaction I'm getting from my wicked step-sister. With the pain written on her face, it's obvious she has feelings for Alpha Arthur. What an interesting coincidence. 

Earlier when I heard her voice in the hall, and my eyes met with hers, my body was consumed with shock. I was wondering what she was doing here and what went wrong between her and Gideon. Well, traitors don't always last.

But with the way Alpha Arthur pulled her off from the hall, a realization hit me that it was a one-sided affection. She was the one who wanted him, and not the other way round. Instantly, I knew this was the best time for me to start my revenge on her. I now have the sweetest opportunity to make Chloe have a taste of her medicine, and I will use it perfectly.

Oh yes, I don't like Alpha Arthur either, but for the sake of this, I will play a nice game with both of them. A game that will send my step-sister to hell. At least for the first time, the Moon Goddess has done something very interesting.

"Elara!" Chloe storms toward me, "I never knew you were such a whore, who will spread her legs cheaply for an Alpha, when you are…." Her eyes rudely size my body, "Married to another Alpha. For the first time, Elara, I want to allow you to have your man for yourself, and you should be grateful for that."

Hnnng!… So this bitch is fully aware that she stole Gideon from me, and she has the guts to rub it to my face. Does she think I don't have an idea of what transpired between both of them? How does she see me? Stupid or what? Such an evil being and she is never beating the allegation.

I huff, and swallow hard, fighting to compose myself before her. I know she is trying to push me to an edge but I refuse to fall for it. Forcing a smile on my face, "Chloe!…" I step forward in her, stroking her hair. The one evil thing Jasmine taught me. "I will advise you not to fight this battle with me, because you will lose heavily. Alpha Arthur, and Alpha Blade are mine to keep, and I will do whatever I desire with their cocks."

"So this is why you dumped Gideon, and stopped taking his call."

Wrapping my hands around my chest, "Who wouldn't dump a weak man for a powerful man? You also did the same, Chloe," I give her a hint that I know, but she doesn't even budge an eye.

She maliciously laughs, "I'm not here for Gideon, Elara. He is your man and that's not my business anymore. I want you to stay far away from Alpha Arthur, or I will…."

"You will do nothing, Chloe. I have that man wrapped in my fingers, and I will make sure he trashes you away like a piece of rag," I sneer and I'm about to walk away when I feel a hard pull on my hair, and an instant slap on my face from Chloe.

She points at me, "This is…" Without allowing her to complete her words, my hand flies through the air, striking her right cheek with a loud smack. The sound echoes off the tiles. 

Chloe stumbles backward, her eyes wide with surprise and pain. Her cheek flushes red, and she raises her trembling hand to touch the spot where I've hit her.

"This is my warning to you, dear step-sister. The next time you raise your filthy hand on me, I will rip off your chest," I throw my hair at her face, and elegantly step out of the restroom.

Returning to the hall, and Alpha Blade's men following behind me, I run my eyes everywhere searching for Alpha Blade as the guests are busy with drinks and conversations. But Alpha Blade is nowhere to be found, just his head warrior and some of his men, lingering around in the hall. 

"Where must he have gone to?" I think to myself as I make my way to my seat. 

"Oh! You are back from the restroom, Luna," a lady sitting beside me calls my attention.

With a forced smile on my face, I gently nod my head in response, my eyes still scanning through, searching for Alpha Blade. 

"You are searching for the Alpha Blade?" She utters.

"Oh, yes, I am. Do you have an idea where he is?" I turn my body in her direction.

She points over her shoulder, "He hurried that way with a lady, like something came up for him," a grin flashes across her face. 

Hmmm! Should I go look for Alpha Blade or not? What if there is something going on with him? He never said anything to me before I left to meet up with Chloe. Anyway, checking on him is part of a Luna's duty. 

"What direction it is again," asking the lady as I push myself up from my seat. 

She points in the direction one more time and I amble toward the direction. 

The direction is a part of the hall that has the guests' rooms, which only makes me wonder what will bring Alpha Blade here. Maybe there is something important going on. 

Still strolling through, I feel a strong tug from the side, dragging me into a room, and pushing me straight onto a bed. 

It was the crazy man, Alpha Arthur. 

He closes the door behind him and walks toward me, his feet pausing right in front of the bed.

"What did you gain from running away from me?" He shoves his hands in his pockets as he gazes right at my face.

With a little force, I shoot upright on the bed, "What do you think you are doing, Alpha?" Rising to my feet, and trying to walk away from him. I'm now a Luna so I have a little right over my affairs.

He grasps my arm, bringing me back to himself, "You have a debt to pay, and you have yet to fulfill it," he lets go of me and my feet stumble back a bit. 

Alpha Arthur continues, "I'm here for you to pay me for taking advantage of my body that night."

My forehead furrows, causing a crease on my face. Is he trying to sound funny right now? How can he still think I took advantage of him when he was the one who fucked me hard. This is unbelievable.

His finger slowly goes through my face, down to my lips, and his thumb rubs through my lower lips. "Are you thinking of the hottest way to pay your debt?" I notice as his gaze on me immediately gets consumed with lust, and he leans his face closer to mine.

I throw my face to the side, "A-Alpha! You…." My words yet to complete when he pushes me, and my back lands on the bed with a silent thud. 

He immediately reaches out for the buttons of his shirt, undoing them one after the other. His eyes locks with mine as his lips curves to the sides with a cruel smile playing on them.

My trembling hands clutches the bed sheet as my heart races faster in fear. What is Alpha Arthur up to? How do I get away from him right now?
