Chapter 16

"Laila...?" her mouth was smudged with something red against her pale face, and veins were popping around her eyes. She turned her back when she saw me, took a kerchief from her pocket and wiped her mouth.

"Ohh... Angel" she replied nervously. "I didn't mean to...I mean... I thought everyone slept.. you shouldn't have seen that.., I'm sorry. I was cleaning his office."

"That's fine. Don't mind me" I chuckled awkwardly "do you know where Alpha is? I thought he might be here as the light was still on."

"Alpha went to bed. He will be in his room" she looked at me and smiled.

"Are you okay?" She asked concerned when she saw my bewildered expression.

"No... I mean yes.. everything is fine." Except for your teeth, it's still half red..oh my goddess that's blood "Thank you. Good night" With that said I left the room as fast as possible.

is she having blood, that means is she a vamp? Obviously yes.  But why is she in pack house? Sam did say something about ancients, I'll ask her next time. I walked upstairs to his room. The door was already opened still I knocked on them.

"Alpha Adonis... are you in there?" I asked and walked inside. " I wanted to ask you about something" the room looked exactly like when I saw it the first time except the bed sheet being changed to a grey colour and the curtains too have been changed. . His room was neat and tidy, all his things well organised and in place.  I looked around for him, He isn't there, which means it doesn't hurt if I take a peek inside. Back then I wanted so badly to be out of here, that I didn't bother looking around. But that won't end well if someone sees me lurking in Alpha's room. I sighed and turned to leave when I saw there were photo frames kept on one of his tables which I failed to notice back then. I walked towards it...

"What are doing here?" I turned around at the sudden question. He was coming out of the bathroom and closed the door behind him to look directly at me, wrapped in a towel covering his lower part and displaying his well-toned abdomen and torso. A sight to forever remember, he was fresh from the shower. His hair was wet and water drops here and there on him. A single drop fell from his hair onto his forehead and ran down the side of his face to his chest and lower while my eyes followed its path making my mouth suddenly dry, out of habit I bit my lips. One blink he was there and next I could smell his cologne when my hair blew due to the force of speed and I could feel him so close as he stood in front of me.

"Open your eyes and look at me" my body shuddered when his minty breath fell on my face... I let my breath out which I didn't realise I was holding. I did open my eyes but couldn't look at him, the aura he radiated was making my body submit to him... he was too powerful.

"Look at me angel," he said closing the distance between us, making me take a step back.

"Wrong move darling" he mocked while taking more steps towards me, when my back touched the wall behind I knew I had no escape. He kept his one arm next to me on the wall followed by his other arm.

"I said look at me, I want to see your eyes" his finger touched my chin slightly pushing my face up "look at me" he commanded. The moment our eyes met my breath hitched. The intensity of the desires pooling in his grey against black made my legs weak.

"What are you doing to me?" He asked while nuzzling my neck and pressing me against him removing any distance that existed between us. Trailing soft kisses on my neck moving up to my face I experienced a sweet addictive feeling, I wanted more for sure.

"You have a choice to run, I won't force you" His grip on my back hardened only for it to loosen. I whimpered,

He groaned caressing my back with his hands" what do you want Angel?" While pressing me further onto him.

"Yo-you" I half breathed and half spoke. He took my face in his hand looking for any sign of rejection but instead, he had a satisfied smirk I guess he got the exact reaction which he wanted from me... with that, his lips touched mine ever so lightly giving me enough time to back out if I want. When I touched his hand on my face he knew what I wanted. He didn't spend another moment wasting he deepened the kiss making my body light up with pleasure.

A gazillion nerves exploding with a warm and tingling sensation of pure pleasure was what I was feeling right now as our tongues explored each other. I moaned into him which earned a low growl from him as he picked me up against the wall cupping my butt cheeks. Our tongues fought for dominance while he pulled me closer to him.

We both paused for air, My chest was heaving due to lack of breath while he just stood watching me not bothered with his breathing right now. I peeked a glance at him he looked as if he could just continue this forever without pause but stopped for me to catch my breath. I was already flushed and hot, his gaze didn't help either, I bet I'll be red like a tomato now. His skin was cold against my warm one.

"You took a cold shower?" I wondered aloud, in this climate I couldn't bring myself to even touch water, and cold water is just another thing. He smirked raising one eyebrow at me.

"You make me take one every time we encounter"

I was confused but then my eyes widen when I understood what he meant, which made me blush further into a deep shade of red, spreading warmth from my face to my neck. He slowly let me down after a quick peck at my lips. While trailing along my neck with kisses that made me turn my face towards the other side and enjoy the feel. Out of the corner of my eyes, one particular frame caught my eyes which made my whole body go still.
