"It is the least I can do for our ally in arms." He smiled back at me. Then he turns to Ammie, "Amethyst, I want you to do your normal chores today then after dinner while Alpha Chase is here you will be staying in his room."

She nodded without looking up, "Yes, Alpha." She says meekly.

"Good, now that is settled, we have a business to do today in my office." He says addressing me.

"Of course," I say finishing my meal.

The meeting took up most of the day as we discussed the treaty and stipulations. We ate lunch in his office brought to us by Mandy. She glanced my way and bowed as she set a plate down in front of me then walked over set a plate down in front of Jacob and bowed then walked out. As I watched her leave, she frowned in concern which made me wonder what could be wrong.

Later at dinner, I noticed Ammie has a bruised face and also on her arms. "What the hell happened?" I asked frowning.

Jacob looked up to see what I was talking about and noticed Ammie with bruises. "She probably caused some problems." That was his answer while I was steaming inside. "Don't tell me you won't want her the rest of the week?!"

"Of course, I will, I assume she will still function well. I mean she is a great lay." I say with a smirk at Jacob.

He smiled back, "Don't I know it? Then it is settled. You will get Amethyst for the rest of your stay."

"I will enjoy that," I say smiling even though I was growling and angry on the inside.
