24. Sweet Bells

As they reached the front of the room AJ took her hand and placed it into Jerome's hand. "Hurt her and I will castrate you with my bare hands." The growl hid the words from those who were curious.

Wilder looked amused, "As if your sister would allow you to take the pleasure of doing it herself from her. You have my word Older Brother, she will not want, in any regard."

AJ's lip curled up in disgust at the subtle jab. "Do not taunt me."

Wilder's eyes glinted with mischief. "Apologies Big Brother. I will care for her as if her life were my own."

AJ turned to his little sister. "Don't let him hurt you. If I feel a tear slide down your face I will carve a permanent tear track on his face. I love you, Baby Sis. I am so damn proud of you and everything you have done. Thank you for giving me this honor." AJ kissed his sister's forehead. He turned to face the officiant who stood patiently before them.

The officiant asked, "Do you give this goddess away in marriage?"
