Chasel's P.O.V.
"You can go ahead. I still have some things to do." Eloise looked at me apologetically.
This was our first day in this city. We needed to settle down first, but she clearly had more things to do.
"It's fine. Work is more important." I tried my best to smile at her.
Under her apologetic and worried gaze, I waved my hand at her.
She then drove off. I walked into the elevator and was prepared to clean up our new home.
I was not depressed about this. On the contrary, from the moment I decided to come to this city with her, I felt very happy.
This was a rare opportunity. I never thought that this would really happen.
From the moment I saw Eloise, I was certain that she was different from others. In my eyes, she seemed to have a special light.
But at that time, she was very worried. She was like a timid rabbit. She lived in the dark forest and was surrounded by danger every day.
