Chapter 8

"Mr.Stephan Buther, how about I dress first?"

Daina was mortified.

I said without looking up, pouring medication on her damaged leg.

No match? How come you can't look at her? "

My wolf appeared hell-bent on revealing my sentiments, Cara kept saying in my head.

No particular sensations.

Cara rambled.

Dason's POV:

I missed seeing Daina for three days.

I want to see her but feared something had happened to her.

After today's training, I encountered Sophie, the she-wolf who bullied Daina.

She walked with she-wolves, slandering Daina.

OMG! How badly did she hurt herself? "

"I suspect her injury was an excuse. Daina must have seduced the prince to get days off. Haven't you noticed? Prince Stephan Buther constantly supports her.

I knew Daina well, and she wasn't the type of werewolf they said she was.

I wished to discourage slandering.

I want to visit Daina after hearing she was hurt.

I asked the dorm management for Daina's room number, then went to my room to get some medication.

I didn't know what she needed, so I brought everything.

Daina's injuries was worse than I expected.

She jumped on one foot as I came.I put down the pills to aid her.

Her grin reminded me of wilting daisies in the rain.

She held my arm and let me lead her to a chair.

Daina was very delicate, while being good in hand-to-hand combat.

She appeared frail after being hurt, the reverse of how she was while training.

"I got you some medication," I said, pointing to her desk.

"Thanks, but I already have some," she grinned.

I was stunned.

Daina's injuries prevented her from leaving.

Who got her medication? Dason?

"Let me assist you," I said, picking up a bottle.

As I knelt, the doorbell rang.

"I'll fetch it," I assured Daina.

Prince Stephan Buther's presence startled me.

Where was he? Were the she-wolves honest? Inconceivable.

Daina was the best and sweetest she-wolf I've ever seen.

I figured Stephan Buther was checking on a trainee.

He was honored.

Stephan Buther gazed at me coldly before looking at my pills.

His lingering look tingled my scalp.

"Mr.Stephan Buther, are you here for Daina?

Biting the bullet, I asked.

He ignored me and glanced about.

"Leave us.Take your meds," he said.

"Yes,Mr.Stephan Buther."

I respected him like everyone else did.

Daina criticized Stephan Buther's strictness.

He was simply strict with her, in my perspective.

He seldom interacted with others, exactly as he was doing to me now.

I took the pills per his recommendations and left.

Daina didn't attempt to remain.

She seemed to recognize my worry before I departed.

When I observed a guy in Daina's room, I pretended I was inspecting all the dorms.

But I kept quiet.

Jason should start working harder tomorrow if he wants to see Daina.

What's up, Mr. Stephan Buther?

Daina questioned.

"I was passing past," I said.

I wished I could take back those remarks.

Then I observed Daina smiling.

She playedfully revealed my falsehood.

Mr. Stephan Buther, you're different from others. Every time you walk by, you bring medication.

I disregarded her insult and entered the room.

I was concerned since I caused her harm.

I'd need her later.

I persuaded myself that doing so much was okay.

I said softly, "Come sit down."

"Yes, Mr. Stephan Buther," she said.

She must have learnt her lesson since she wore loose beige pants and a black sweater today, showing off her slim waist.

Daina's looks and figure were unmatched.

Daina's voice woke me up.

What was I thinking when I held a spray for her leg injury?

"Your wound's irritated. It'll take time to heal."

Her leg healed quicker than I thought when I sprayed medication on it.

I saw her fall—she was no ordinary werewolf.

Her bloody leg was shattered at the moment.

Daina was a rare, gifted she-wolf.

I was correct to train her.

After spraying the medication, I urged Daina to remain in her room and not wander so she might recuperate quicker.

My attendant was waiting for me with a frown as I left Daina's room.

"Mr.Stephan Buther, werewolves have circulated tales about you and Miss Daina."

""Find out who generated rumors and stop them.

Sophie's POV:

The trainees' rumors about Daina circulated quickly.

I was pleased.

She-wolves liked the prince.

Daina seducing him was intolerable to them.

I was happy when they said Daina was a shameless whore.

I hummed as I went to practice.Today was my happiest day here.

I hoped tomorrow was like today.

Daina was a servant.

She should live in the dirt, permanently trodden by me.

Then she'd plead for pity and seek kindness from me.

She shouldn't have challenged me.

I'd stop pickingon Daina if she asked to be my slave forever.

Otherwise, I'd simply let her reputation suffer.

No one would marry her, and everyone would hate her.

Lively Sophie.

Behind me, I heard my name called.

I saw Neil.

He was serious and disgusted.

My grin slipped because of a horrible sensation.

"Why?

"I asked calmly.

My heart shook when I heard this.

Stephan Buther want to know why. First, I assumed it was due of the rumors I propagated. I imagined Stephan Buther would dismiss such trifles.

Mistaken? No, he may have had another motive to meet me. I persuaded myself.

Neil escorted me to Stephan Buther's location at the training field.

Training hadn't start yet, but everyone was there and gazing at me

He told me to leave as soon as I arrived.

What?!

"Why? What's wrong? "

You slandered Mr.Stephan Buther and Daina Barry!

Jason glared.

They knew! "It was the other she-wolves!" "

I blamed them to save myself.

Jason said, "Don't worry. Mr. Stephan Buther wouldn't have accused you without proof."

I couldn't decide what to do.

Do what? I did mix Stephan Buther's name with that chick's.

If he was angry, he wouldn't let me off easy.

Alex appeared then.

I want him to protect me, but he retreated into the mob. I felt useless. No, I couldn't leave! Leaving would make Daina a smuggler.
