Chapter ７１

Daina felt anxious.My heart leapt when I thought of her in jeopardy.

Every second was agony.

Daina was brought out of the OR unconscious.

I addressed her and her doctor immediately.

“How's she, doctor?”

"The patient's life is no longer in danger, but she must be transported to the ICU for observation."

I sighed and followed Allen and the she-wolf to the ICU.

I'd wait beside Daina's bed forever for her to wake up.

POV: Daina

I saw Stephan Buther bloodied in bed.

He was hurt.

I heard his machine beeping until he flat-lined and everything became silent.

Doctors shook their heads hopelessly and told me to be calm.

My heart shattered.I couldn't continue.

"Stephan Buther!"I called his name while crying.

I blinked dazedly.

Stephan Buther sat next to me in a hospital bed, uninjured.

"Stephan Buther's face brightened up when he saw me, and he held my hand to his cheek.

"Stephan Buther, I'm delighted you're okay.I had an awful dream about you."
