Chapter 41

That night was the worst night ever. I couldn’t sleep at all. I didn’t go back to Kayden’s room. I went into my previous given room. That was the first time we ever had a ‘fierce discussion’. I didn’t manage to sleep alone for long. Because after Kayden realized that I wasn’t in his room, he came to find me. And when he found me, he swung me over his shoulder and carried me back to his room. I did try to struggle but his strength was so much stronger than mine. He threw me on the bed and he climbed up to the bed later. I tried to leave a gap between us but no luck in that. So I decided not to face him. He placed his arm over my waist and pulled me to him till my back hit his chest. I wanted to wriggle off his grip or move away from him. But...

"I can’t sleep without you by my side." He whispered softly into my ear and tugged me closer to him again.
