Conditions

At the front of the house, Diamond was about going into the house after trashing their dirts when Eloise walked in through the gate.

"Diamond" Eloise called as she walked up to her.

"Why did you come?" Diamond asked still not feeling okay about what happened in school

"I came to check if you are okay"Eloise said truly concerned

"You've seen that I'm okay now right? You can leave." Diamond said with little emotion

"Why are you talking to me in that manner? You left before the second class even started and never came back, and you seriously expect me not to be bothered?" Eloise frowned lightly

"Why do you care?" Diamond bursted out

"Why do I care? Are you joking? Was I the one that insulted you? I was even trying to defend you, but you just sat there and couldn't speak for your bloody ass." Eloise said angrily

"Yes, I couldn't speak for myself, thank you for making me realize that. You can leave now"

"You know what? Fuck you!" Eloise spat angrily making Diamond's lips go agape.

"Yes, fuck you and fuck your bad spirit." Eloise yelled and stomped out of the house angrily.

At about 4:50 PM after Diamond was done with her chores, she stood at the front of her room door, unsure whether to go in or not.

"Is that cute weird looking guy still in there? What if he is? I can't stand going in and seeing him there, he is so strange." She thought

"Or should I tell mum about it? That's definitely what I need to do, only she can fix this mess. That guy needs to confess who he really is" she concluded after contemplating on what to do

She started towards the stairs, but stopped almost halfway down the stairs when she heard Bethzy taking in a very suspicious way

"Mum, not only was she on the same table with a guy, I also heard that the guy was defending her from some girl" Bethzy hush voice became louder and diamond decided to pause and listen more

"I think it's her boyfriend" Bethzy added in a loud whisper

"What is she talking about?" Diamond thought.

"That brat?" Nevaeh yelled

"Jamila wouldn't dare" Diamond heard Talon say in a very frightening tone

"Wait ..... They are talking about me? But I don't have a...." Diamond's thought was suddenly cut short by a realization of what happened in school earlier.

"Shit! They think Liam is my boyfriend? But he didn't even sit with me. Ha! That school and rumours" she thought and sighed

"She better not because if I find out that this is true I am gonna skin her alive" Nevaeh uttered angrily

"Where did she even go?" Talon asked

"I think she's in her room" Nevaeh said

"I'm going to get her, she needs to be taught some lessons" Talon said and Diamond was about going back to her room when she started footsteps but stopped when Nevaeh spoke up

"Leave her for now. I want to see it with my eyes and if I do, she won't survive my wroth"

"Mum are you sure about this?" Bethzy asked.

"Yes, if I ever in any way see her with any guy what so ever whether a classmate or not, I'm gonna show her shame" Nevaeh said, her voice showing pure disgust.

"She's going to deal with me if she happens to find me with a guy?" Diamond thought as she went back to the front of her room, unable to go to her mum anymore.

"That means she's gonna kill me when she finds out that a guy is in my room" she gasped when the realization suddenly dawned on her.

"Oh no! I have to get rid of him quickly" she thought as she pushed the door open and immediately she did, the thought of her driving him out flew out of the window when she saw his adorable flawless face again.

"Why are you staring?" Xander asked when Diamond remained mute and she quickly caught herself back

"You need to leave" she said looking away in order to prevent herself from being tempted.

"You left me here since morning, didn't you realize that I would be hungry?"

"I don't care!" She blunted out

"That's mean" Xander frowned a little

"I said you need to leave" she said in a stern tone

"Fine" he said and stood up from her study where he sat.

"Are you seriously gonna let this cute guy go just like that?" Her subconscious asked

"Shut up!" She didn't know when the words spluttered out of her mouth

"Huh?" Xander's brows furrowed as he gave her the weird look again

"Stop giving me that look" she frowned.

"Wait!" Diamond said when Xander walked past her, heading for the door.

She couldn't let him go now, her mum and siblings were still in the living room and they would surely see him when he is leaving, and that too wouldn't be good for her.

"Don't go now" she said hurriedly as she rushed to the door and shut it

"Hummmm.... See who has gone wild" Xander smirked

"Don't fool yourself" Diamond said with a light frown.

"Why did you change your mind? I thought you wanted me out of your sight a few seconds ago?"

"Well... I changed my mind" Diamond shrugged searching for a perfect excuse to give him.

"I just wanted to treat your wou...." The rest of her words got stucked in her mouth when her eyes roamed his flawless skin- no wounds!

"Where.... How.... I thought... Why aren't there any wound on your body? Where did all the cuts and marks go?" She asked with her eyes widened in surprise, unable to understand the

whole mystery

"They healed" Xander said simply

"Impossible! Deep cuts healed within few hours without leaving even a single scar?"

"Well.... that's me for you" he said like it was nothing.

"There sure has to be more to this guy" Diamond thought glaring at him suspiciously

"What's with the stares? Why are you acting like a human?" Xander's brows arched

"Wait..." He moved closer to her and sniffed her face, and then a frown appeared on his face.

"Why are you sniffing me like a dog?" Diamond asked getting upset already

"You are indeed a human" he said, his tone showing surprise and disappointment, but beyond that, he had a confused look on

"And what are you?"

"Where is this place?" He asked, and Diamond rolled her eyes at him

"Keep acting weird" she said and walked over to her study table.

She indeed was a human.

He has been with a human all along.

"What's your name?" Xander asked Diamond after a long lasting silence between them

"Why does it matter? You're gonna be leaving soon" Diamond said icly

"You are really gonna throw me out?" He asked making Diamond turn to him

"It's not throwing you out. It's you going back to wherever you came from"

"But I just told you I don't know. I have the faintest idea about where this place is"

"What's your name?" She asked, still unsure whether to trust him or not.

"Xander"

"What's really with this guy? I don't know but his unusual cuteness, his weird way of speaking, his nature of wounds healing within hours, and his name is just what needs to be questioned." She thought.

"You really don't know how you got here?" She asked and he shook his head.

She tried looking into his eyes to find a trace of lie, but she couldn't find any.

"What if he's telling the truth? What if he's not? What if he's just a spy that has been sent here? No! He had wounds on his body when I came in and.... Could it be that he lost his memories?" She thought getting more confused

"Where are you from?" She asked trying to get something from him, anything

"I don't know" he stated plainly

"You don't know?" Diamond asked with a bit of surprise and disappointment.

"I don't remember"

"Wow..... What are the things you can remember about yourself? Let's start from there"

"My name and my powers" he said but wished he hadn't said the last part

"Powers? What powers?" Diamond asked curiosity taking over her

"Sorry, slip of tongue. Just my name" he corrected.

Since he discovered that she was a human he wouldn't want her to know anything about his powers and his world.

"Okay" she said, still suspicious of the weird looking guy that was sitting on her bed.

"Someone couldn't have brought him in here right?" She thought still finding the possible way as to which he got here.

"So will you let me stay?" He asked

"Stay?" She asked back in shock

"Yes"

"No!"

"No?"

"Yes, no!"

"But why?"

"Why? I can't stay in the same room with a guy"

"Then you can get me another room"

"It's easy for you to say. Just so you know, this isn't my house, it's my mum's house" she said and he arched a brow

"Isn't your mum's house also your house?"

"Forget about it"

"Please" he said in a charming way

"I... I ... Okay fine, but on two conditions"

"Spill"

"One, You will stay only in the four conners of this room, on no account must you be seen outside"

"Am I in a cage or what?" Xander asked with a light frown, but Diamond just ignored him and continued:

"Two, you will stay out of my business"

"Do I look like an intruder to you?" He arched a brow

"And you will not touch any of my things" she added

"That's not two?"

"Are you in or out?"

"Alright, I agree, but can I give my conditions?"

"You are in no place to give me conditions. This is my house, I make the rules"

"I thought you said it's your mum's house?" He teased with a smirk

"Damn you!"

"Can I ask you a question?"

"No!"

"Why are you cold?" Xander asked curiously, ignoring her reply

"If you must stay here then you must learn not to ask me silly questions."

"You are rude." he frowned lightly

"Thank you." Diamond said with sarcasm.

"Can I get something to eat at least?"

"Can you let me breathe?"

"I am hungry. I haven't had anything to eat since morning. Don't you have any conscience?" He asked and she sighed as she placed her phone down and walked out of the room.
