It was Luna's first day at a new school. She carefully made her way down the school hall. She didn't know what the students were going to be like. She didn't know what to expect at all. Her family had just moved to a new sector.
In 3020 A.D., the former United States of Ameroca was divided into 4 States and broken down into 16 Sectors, each being ruled by a Lycan governor. Luna and her family moved from the Sector 3 to Sector 12. It took a lot of paper work but their persistence finally paid off and thier papers were approved so they were allowed to move. Her father and mother dad wanted a fresh start. There had been a lot of unrest in Sector 3. Every time there was a violent unrest among the humans, the Lycan government quickly subdue the freedom fighters. The humans were no match for the powerful Lycan sect.
Luna didn't know what to except in Sector 6. she wasn't happy about moving away. She'd been wanting to join the freedom fighter. She wanted her freedom. She hated the Lycans. The peace treaty between the humans and Lycans was suppose to bring about peace but it was also under strict conditions and laws that the humans must abide by. Luna was angry and restless. She was unhappy with the laws that was enforced on her and her people.
She was almost 18. She was going to be free from her parents. Her parents didn't agree with her. They thought that by being good, law abiding citizens was good enough. Luna didn't agree with them. She was going to make her own way through life. She'd vowed to herself that one day she was going to make a difference in the world. She would bring about change for her people.
The school she was attending was one of the first of all schools that was trying to diversify Lycans with humans. The Lycan government thought it fitting that if there was to be peace
then they needed to start assimilating young humans into their Lycan school systems. What a bright idea, she thought. What could go wrong? Young male Lycans were hot-headed and rough around the edges especially if they had not found their mate to complete them. Young unmated Lycans were just wired that way so it was not a surprise that they would be found fighting amongst themselves to be top Alpha. Of course, there was a law that it was a crime for Lycans to mess with humans or else they would face harsh punishments. Of course, its been known that a human or two would get caught in the young Lycan brawls and there have been some injuries. It was also a known fact that humans were not as strong as Lycans.
She looked into her classroom. She could see a teacher speaking to the class. The teacher felt her stare and looked her way. She waved for her to come in. Luna entered the room. She exhaled when she saw 25 pairs of eyes settle on her.
"Hello, you must be Luna Crysdale," the teacher said. "I'm your instructor, Me-anda Pharos. You make call me Instructor Pharos."
She turned to the classroom. "Class, this is human Luna Crysdale. She's new here is Sector 12 and the school district, please make her feel welcome. Luna, you may find yourself an empty desk to sit at."
She went and found a place in the back.
A girl sat in front of her turned around. "Hi. I'm Ura. It's nice to meet you."
Luna could tell right away that Ura was a Lycan. Lycan looked exactly like humans until they tranformed into a Lycan. Humans couldn't tell the difference because they didnt have a keen sense of smell like the Lycans. But Lycans could tell immediately if a person was a Lycan or not. Luna was human but she knew she had a keen sense of smell just like a Lycan. She didn't understand why or how she could smell as well as them. She was discovering things about herself. Things that were not human-like at all.
